I am 188 pounds and 5'9" and the vest fits fine for a vest of this style. The workmanship seems adequate but there are some flaws in design.There is absolutely no padding anywhere on this vest. Which is fine as long as you do not plan on using actual plates in the plate pockets. This is ok for the price. Emphasis on the minimal design. It fits the 10x12 plates, and that's about the size of the system. I'm a big guy, so it looks a little goofy for as small as it is, but then again, its minimal and should get the job done for hunting or airsoft. Note, it does come with 2 foam inserts for airsoft already.

The vest looks great but a big emphasis on MINIMAL protection. There is no Velcro on the back of the vest so if you want to put a patch on the back your going to have to buy yourself some velcro (pretty cheap) ; Great mobility, but poor construction in the sense that there is absolutely ZERO padding on the vest. Carrying actual plates is uncomfortable but if you are on a budget and or want something that looks cool, then I highly suggest it.

Shoulder pads are a bit poorly made, some of the stitchings are already stretching. 10 lb plastic/concrete plates fits perfectly with very little wiggle, which means I didn’t have to buy the actual plates anymore or make one from a cast iron one. Great vest otherwise!!!

We bought a size small for my nephew for a Halloween costume. Ends up he uses it everyday now, it’s made of good quality material especially for the price.
