not for intended use but worked perfectly
Got these to help remove spa jets. Worked really well, jaws were soft enough to not scratch the plastic but strong enough to grip and turn

Great Channellock Wrench with Soft Jaws for Rainbird Sprinkler Maintenance
This TTC WP-300SC-S wrench is an excellent quality tool. In addition to the soft jaws for clasping items that would be damaged by steel, the tool has a retraction spring that releases the jaws automatically as pressure on the handle is released. Excellent design.I now have two pair of these channel lock pliers and I use them to maintain rainbird sprinklers so that I do not damage the plastic body or cap of the sprinkler. I use them to replace the sprinkler internals or the seals on the pop-up tube to which the nozzle is attached.

No grip handle
Tsunoda almost had a winner with these. I got them because of good reviews and reports on YouTube about this brand and these specifically. The jaws have soft inserts that are friction fit and I expect will slide or pop out easily during use. The major strike against these is the grip material. The yellow grips are made of a material with no texture whatsoever and they feel slick and with sweaty hands you’ll have trouble holding them. Some other pliers brands use this same slippery material but there’s too many tool companies getting it right to accept it being wrong. I’m just gonna look for a better option. The metallurgy and overall quality seems good it’s just the design that seems to not be well thought out in my opinion

Ok for larger work
I needed a pair of soft jawed pliers for some work I don on wood and plastic. I thought these would be fine. However, the jaws are too large for most of my requirements. I bought an extra set of soft jaws too. They are not the toughest channel locks. the handles are thin and flex when you put the squeeze on. They would work well on large plastic rings or nuts, like those found on faucets and other plumbing fixtures. I bought them because they were the least expensive.

The rubber grip makes the difference!!!
I have been very happy with this tool. The rubber grip allows you to grab lots of stuff that you may not be able to get a good grip on due to where the pipe is located or its surface texture, all while providing extra leverage on turning the pipe. I have even used it to open a tight lid on a jar. Price is good, delivery was fast, comfortable to work with, and I would buy this again.

Seems like the right tool .... but silicon grip to softcover
The silicon pads are not stiff enough. Good idea but wasn’t going to work for my project. Returned it

These work for what they are made for, with obvious limitations
These work fine for gripping delicate surfaces without damaging them. They will not work in all cases. If something is too tight, the plastic jaw covers will slip off, or possibly deform and be damaged. If the jaw shape does not conform well to the fixture shape, then the gripping power will be diminished. If you are careless with positioning, you risk damage from the metal parts of the plier. When used thoughtfully, these can do the job, but they can't work for every situation.
