It is much easier to use the two pouches and they are better then the cans especially when it comes to putting the rest of the cat food in the frig for later. My cat enjoys the food and eats it right up. Easy to store. Easy to travel with.

Good product - value and equal to Sheba's product. Cats loved both brands.

We have NEVER fed any of our kitties wet cat food because it’s not good for their teeth after years of eating it according to our trusted vets. And several vets we’ve worked with through the years have told us wet cat food can also cause kitties to get constipated (although I’m aware that may depend on the ingredients of the particular wet cat food). We’ve done exceptionally well with Science Diet dry cat food. BUT, my elderly kitty was starting to lose weight and I knew I needed to give her anything I could get her to eat. I tried MANY MANY flavors and brands of wet cat food and for some reason, this is the only wet cat food she will eat. She LOVES it and this size works well for her because the cans were too big and that was a pain to deal with leftover cans still with food in them. THIS FOOD IS STINKY and it IS hard to open. In fact, I now buy rubber, disposable gloves to wear so I don’t get the stinky wet food ALL OVER ME. But if I wear these disposable gloves and have an open ziplock bag ready to put the stinky packaging and gloves inside and the paper towel I make sure is underneath the food when I open it, I can get through it. Also, for some reason, I have found if I don’t pull on the BIG FOIL TAB that’s intended to be used to pull on to open and instead open from the other side of the plastic half container, for some reason, it’s just easier to open. (For the record, this is the only cat food I’ve ever given my kitties that seem to inspire me to use profanity!) 😂🙈 I can’t speak to how healthy this wet cat food is. Normally I would spend time researching the ingredients to be sure it was reasonably healthy. I just know I’ve tried everything to keep my 17 year old domestic short hair kitty eating and this is the only wet cat food (in the size that works best) that she likes and she is no longer losing weight and has actually gained some and seems to be THRIVING. Hope this is helpful. I will mention that my elderly mom has found that using a knife to open the food and cut around the edges has been easier for her personally. Also, I will mention that it appears that I can get this a little bit cheaper here on Amazon which is convenient for me to do.

I feed our 19 year old cats twice a day, splitting two flavors of Fancy Feast cans for the two of them. Elderly cats need to eat (and drink) often to maintain a suitable weight. The petite size is perfect for a snack for my two around 4:30 pm or just before bedtime if they have been very active. I am pleased with everything about this Fancy Feast product except opening the package. The tab provided is too small for me to get a good grip to open the package completely. I have to open it over the plate with a gripper-type tool and then it often spills anyway. I hope Fancy Feast changes how to open this package type soon.
