Prestige Cat Trees 130098-Neutral Staggered Cat Tower Cat Tree, Large

I've had this cat tree for a year with two small/medium cats. It is very sturdy and even on carpet doesn't wobble. The beds are wide and deep. It is a little ugly but the pretty ones are never sturdy and the fabric wears down so quickly and it's twice the price. This style of cat tree typically values quality over attraction and I'm cool with that. The cats use it constantly and they love it.

I work in animal sheltering so I have a lot of exposure to cat trees. Many are set up with bells and whistles that really don't take into account what an adult cat will actually be attracted to. This tree does it in it's simplicity. The levels are spacious and we'll spaced. The scratching areas are put with a workability. It is sturdy, up to the highest level. I put it together in 5 to 10 minutes. I have 2 cats, a 7 and 14 pounder and as they jump the levels this tree barely shakes. From the get go or else they would have been freaked and avoided. My 7 pounder, Space Grrrl! Who has neurological issues runs up an down this tree. Billy, to my surprise, the 14 pounder, was up on the highest level in 3 days and now regularly perches there looking out the window. In a world where it's hard to find good stuff I cannot recommend enough that this a fun, workable, inviting tree for cats. I also spent the big money after contemplating how my cats would actually enjoy the set up. I also chose to spend the extra money for a product made in America and I do not regret it. My cats happiness and agility workouts say it all. Oh yeah, other folks in reviews complain about loose hair carpeting. Well, that's just paddy water talk. This a great tree for the money. Now excuse me,but I have to get back to digging my cats on their tree.

I picked this cat tree to fit specifically in a corner between my closet door and desk and was very glad it fit. It is basically delivered already assembled; you just have to screw in 3 parts (one circle bed and the 2 curve top beds). I have two large Maine Coons who like to sharped their claws and I am very happy that the tree stays put doesn't even tilt or rock when they rocket off of it in the middle of the night. They both love the circle bed which is big enough for them to stretch out on. Lastly, I have been very impressed and surprised that while some of the carpeting has been 'shedding' a little as they scratch it and shred it once I vacuum up the strings you can't tell looking at the cat tree that they have been working so hard at it. Very durable. Very please with the buy and would definitely recommend it.

We reordered the exact cat tree that we purchased in 2020. After 5 years, our two cats put a lot of wear and tear on it. The cats loved it, and it held up well. It is an expensive cat tree that can support our Maine Coon and Ragdoll both at the same time. The original one, pictured on the right was 199.00 when we purchased it. The new one pictured on the left is a disappointment. We paid 249.00, because we thought it would be the same cat tree we purchased in 2020, and even at 50.00 more, we wanted the best for our cats. As you can see, the manufacturer is using smaller diameter wooden posts. The base is not as thick and the tree is not as sturdy as the original. I am keeping it, but will not purchase again. I did notice another cat tree like this by the same manufacturer for 202.00 called a large cat tree. I thought that’s what I was getting, but mine was 249.00. Apparently, they charge two different prices for the same cat tree. Buyer beware!

The Product itself appears to be rather sturdy. However, after several consecutive days of being promised that it would be delivered before 8:00pm, it finally arrived today and had clearly been subjected to considerable violence. The shipping package was severely damaged, including a major jagged tear of the cardboard going most of the way down an entire face of the carton. The whole thing was held together with strips of packing tape applied in a desperate looking manner. Fortunately the Product within suffered no major damage (though one component is a bit loose, and there's no visible way to tighten it). Even so, I expect my purchases to be handled with much more care than this. It may not have gotten damaged in this particular instance, but that doesn't mean that it couldn't have been, or that an equivalent product under similar mishandling will not be exceedingly damaged.

Arrived earlier than expected. Smartly packaged. Came more than half assembled. Super easy to put together. Just turn and tighten the remaining three posts. My cats luv this tree. But my fatsos are easy to please. The posts are not too thick. See pics. The carpet could be a little thicker, but all in all, I like the convenience of it. The last tree I had was so huge! It was 80 pounds and you could not dismantle it. I had to call maintenance to throw it out. It was of excellent quality. Thick posts. Costco. Lasted 5 years. This one probably won’t last as long but I can throw it out myself when it’s destroyed and vacuuming it is easier. Speaking of vacuuming, please do so before your little darlings start playing and sleeping in the tree. The last pic shows the dust and loose fibers the Dyson hand held picked up just after arriving. My fat little girl (cat) has asthma so we have to be careful with dust. The girl, calico, is 12 pounds and the boy, black and white, is 15 pounds. They’re not tall kitties. The round beds, I don’t know what to call them, are not that big. If you have a tall cat, the placement of the lowest bed is a bit awkward, also. You will see from pics. You’re kitty’s head will touch the next attachment above. All in all I think my fatties are happy. It’s still a large and tall tree. And they squeeze their chunky butts into the tiniest boxes anyway. I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend, if you don’t have huge and tall cats, like 20 pound maincoons.
