I spent a long time looking online at all of the choices on Amazon for mailbox cubbies, and after much debate I chose this particular product. It was a little more money than I originally wanted to spend, but I wanted to make sure I was getting the best quality. These mailbox cubbies are made out of composite wood, which I liked rather than some other material such as PVC or cardboard. Even the shelves are made of wood, which was difficult to find in other similar products. The mailboxes are white, which was another factor in my decision, as I wanted a neutral color that would match any type of decor or color scheme in my classroom. I like the overall size of the mailboxes, not too big or tall and not too small. The length (from left to right) is approximately 31 inches across. The depth (from front to back) is 12 inches, and the height (from top to bottom) is approximately 21 inches tall. It is a perfect size to put on top of a bookshelf or sturdy table. The individual cubbies themselves are plenty big enough to put student work, papers, folders, or notebooks. I would not overload them with laptops or tablets. The mailboxes do come unassembled and you must put them together. You could do it be yourself, but if you want to make sure your pieces are flush and aligned properly, I recommend having someone else there to help out a little. From start to finish, it took about 45 minutes to assemble. The directions are terrible...they consist of pictures only, no written words. I did have to take off one panel and reverse it because the picture was not entirely clear on which way to face it. When completed, the whole thing looks great! It is a little on the heavy side, but it appears to be durable and has great storage capacity. I am pleased with my purchase!

I bought this to organize my sheet music. I previously had a pair of bankers boxes like this that I liked but were nowhere near sturdy enough to withstand the weight of all my music books. This has more muscle and definitely not cardboard. It's wonderful. It's feels sturdy and was easy to put together. The pieces fit together better than some of the other cheap furniture I've put together. There was even a screw driver in the box so I didn't need to hunt mine down. The slots make it easy to separate my music between genres, composers, type, etc. It fits nicely in the space between my piano and the wall which gives me easy access to all my junk. I've used different methods for organizing my music in the past including but not limited to file cabinets, cubby holes, and my floor, and I find these mail organizers to be the best for me (when I actually don't have my music scattered all over the floor). I have way too much music for one organizer so I quickly purchased another one for the rest, giving me more space to buy more music. The slots are a bit smaller than I anticipated. A lot of my music books that have binding bend a bit to fit but it's not a big problem for me. Most of the books without binding slide right in.

Exactly what I needed. I got 2 units. First one took about 30 min to put together and second one about 15 minutes. Holes align and directions aren't too bad (ignore the first page, look at the assembly and the pieces are actually marked. Careful : no extra hardware.

It will not fit binders. The shelves are not super customizable. You get 3 boards total, each board slides into a slot to create the shelf. It’s very sturdy and easy to put together. It looks great. Works for all of our homeschool stuff.

Very sturdy nicely made perfect for on top of a desk

This thing is so sturdy and gorgeous! Husband put together in about a half hour. You will not find a better one. I haven’t several versions of this. My husband drilled holes in the back of it for me to use as Chromebook storage in my classroom. He said it was easily done. Many teachers in my school have used this idea. This product is high quality and holds up to being modified. Solved a problem that I have been grappling with for years!

Got this for a special purpose project. The build on this product is solid. Easy to install, a good weight and durable. The gaps at the back of the shelves allow for cabling and wires and the material is easy to drill through (though the paint chips). I have it setup as a portable wireless mic mixer and put a door on the front of it to keep pesky hands away from the electronics. Overall, love the look and it’s totally durable. Expect to have this in use for years. Great product!

I bought this mail organizer to store my lawnmower batteries. A standard tool chest to fit on my counter was $170. This is a much better price. It's also the only mail organizer I found that was over 2in tall in each shelf. My batteries are about 2.25in so they fit perfectly with space to spare. Previously my batteries were just laying all across the table in my laundry room. But now thanks to this, they are more organized. There is a decent weight and heft to this. For reference my batteries are the kobalt 40v max. It suits my needs perfectly!

Very easy to put together, sturdy and spacious. Great for my kids gaming/TV stuff (neat order around screen :D). A little pricey for the size but nice and functional, would buy again.
