Pretty comfortable boots!
Trying the boots on was a great experience; the leather was dry and stiff but still comfortable out of the box. That being said, the method I used to reduce he break in time has dramatically increased the level of comfort. The first thing one should do with a new pair of boots like this is to take a shower with them on your bare feet. Tie them on as tight as you can and get them good and soaked. This will soften the leather. Retighten the laces as needed but keep the leather soaked. Once your shower is complete, keep wearing the boots until they're mostly dry. These boots feel absolutely amazing now that they've (somewhat) molded to my feet. I have plenty of room to wiggle my toes in the toe box, the width is perfect for a good solid wrap around the forefoot and I have great ankle support. I do have a little play in the heel, going up and down, but I don't know (yet) if this will cause a problem that will cause blisters. I'll update after a couple rucks around the neighborhood. All of this is with wearing medium thickness Fox River socks (also fantastically comfy). There is a removeable insole in this boot and the bottom is not soft but quite solid, but has soft foam glued on top. I'm not wearing any arch support currently, but after a few hours of wearing the boots, my feet feel pretty good with little pain in the arch.Quite a good set of boots so far and only time and a few miles will tell how good they really are.

I have been using this specific model since 2016. Good arch support. True to size. Perfect for me.

Good Boot but NOT Waterproof!
I must have confused these with a different boot when I was comparing various models. I THOUGHT these were waterproof, otherwise I would not have bought them. If I were in the desert and had no concerns about encountering water, these would be great. However, I got them to replace my GREAT Merrell waterproof hiking boots because they were too short and water kept going over the tops of them. I bought these ten months ago for my next trip to Maine, and just wore them for the first time this week to find, the very first time I stepped in three inches of water, that they aren't waterproof. Other than that, they are a very comfortable boot. Cushioning is good (but not quite as good as my Merrells), they have sufficient width (not all boots do), the outsoles have good grip on rocks, and they are tall enough for my purposes. If they were waterproof, they might be the best boot available.

Runs 1 and 1/2 sizes large.
I've had a few pairs of these boots over the years. They run large, I have a 10 1/2 wide foot, however a 9 wide fits perfectly. Very short break-in time Just a few days. These Boots are extremely comfortable and durable. Great boots for hot weather climates. I will continue to purchase these in the future.

Not as good as the originals
The original Khyber/Sabre line had a molded heel that locked it into place for zero heel lift (zero blisters), the material was more easily broken in (softer but just as durable), and the toe had an extra strip of leather. These are far inferior but great for colder ops and things that need good treads and padded ankle support. I really miss the originals, though, and wish they had made them in coyote before they switched styles. Please bring back the c.2011 version, Belleville!

Comfy boots for wide feet
Got these bad boys on a whim and they are without a doubt the most comfortable boots I’ve ever been in. Took them on a small hike and they proved to be everything I hoped that they were meant to be. They were like $160 but they definitely were worth every penny of the money. Definitely recommend!

Good boot
This is (now) is a great boot. Solid and comfortable. I'll get to why not a 5th star in a moment.I've now had them a couple of weeks and worn them a dozen times. On pavement, dirt, gravel, river rocks, and up and down hills they been solid all the way. Took very little break in time. They have Vibram soles which are a dream for traction and stability, and the ankle support is superb. I'm anticipating many miles to come in these. The only con is regarding the laces. I like to tie a surgeon's knot down where my ankle breaks and create an ankle lock to keep my foot tight to the rear. To do that the laces need to be undone down to that point. Therefore I need speed hooks in the top four rows. These have thru laces all the way. I had to change those out. Local cobblers wanted between $5 and $8 a hook to do that, so 16 would have been a huge expense so I made swap myself. No big deal. Since this is my own personal fetish I wouldn't have knocked off a start for that. What did cost a star was the particular thru lace devices these come with. If they had been simple eyelets all the way up that would have been fine. I still would have swapped them for speed hooks, but at least they would have worked properly for normal lacing. But these came with weird vertical tube lace holders - and they are dreadful. Two problems: 1) when the laces are loosened but held in this vertical format the loops get all entangled with each other and 2) the laces fit so tightly in the tubes you frequently need to use both hands to pull them thru, one to hold the tube and one to pull the lace. It's a mess. Horrible design. In truth this is a really great boot. I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want speed hooks on a tall boot, but to each his own. But please lose those damn tubes and put in regular eyelets.
