Outstanding sherry finish at cask strengh
For a proper review, go to The Whisky Exchange or Connosr.com. Suffice to say, an outstanding dram with strong sherry influence. Just note, it's cask strength.

Why the huge price hike :o(
Good whisky and until now one of my 'go to ' bottles that I would always have to hand. However I won't be buying any more after the 100% price hike. Glenfarclas 105 is just as good !

one of my favourite cask fills, and local.

Gorgeous
Batch 62, just lovely but beware, cask strength and I think it benefits from adding water to suit but don't drown it and use good water so you don't ruin the taste. Some one posted they added spring water, good advice. As an update, I wouldn't pay the latest price, not even at £65. Just bought a bottle from Booths in Windermere for £40 and it is batch 62 so stop taking the piss Pernod

What on earth are they playing at?
Disgusting practice by the guys. Absolutely no justifiable reason for the massive price increase. Certainly won’t be buying from this distillery again.

Unacceptable price hike
Not worth buying with such a price hike especially for a NAS whisky. At just over 75% up from £39.99 a few months ago, it is a good drink but one can get better whiskys with that amount and get equally sozzled. I'm definitely not buying again.
