Good
The KAPAS Electric Bug Zapper is extremely effective at controlling the insect population around my home. Living by a standing pond, mosquitos are unfortunately, a huge problem for my family. During the summer it’s extremely hard to stay outdoors for any period of time without getting bitten. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on chemical pesticides and even hired professionals with little to no success. I decided it was time for an alternative to chemical pesticides and came across this product. Upon setting it up, I immediately noticed that the mosquitos were drawn more towards the light than people thus fixing the problem all together. The neat hanger that was included allowed me to easily set up the bug zapper on my patio where most of the gatherings occur. The design also matches the patio lights so that’s a plus! It’s been about two weeks now and I can say it’s more effective than any pesticides as they are only short term solutions (4-5 days for me). Overall I’m extremely happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who has an insect problem. I intend to purchase this again in the future if needed but so far, it seems that one is enough for the entire property.

Amazing bug killer.
I deliberately used it for 10 days to evaluate the product, which is a very amazing bug killer. It really kills mosquitoes, flies and things like that. I have too many mosquitoes in my backyard, and every time I go out in the backyard, I become a mosquito meal. I used to buy insecticide in my backyard. But that doesn't work. It bothers me that the mosquitoes fly around all the same. I didn't dare let my son play in the backyard. So I found this bug killer. It can't kill all the mosquitoes. The backyard, after all. But at least most. I installed it in the doorway of my backyard. At least the mosquitoes didn't come into my house. I love this bug killer. thank you.

Does its job well...
I'm out in the Texas hill country, lots of bugs. This sucker worked like a charm. Sucked in every bug from every dark corner from the ends of the earth. Unfortunately the lamp stopped working within a weeks time. The plastic grating around it has fairly thin gaps, the larger bugs sat on the outside of the lamp. My porch area is roughly 500 sf Although living out in the sticks, this lamp was too effective at attracting bugs. Without it, mosquito get you. With it, swarms of moths buzzing about. Guess I'll have to screen in the porch..

Ready for summer
Works right on arrival. We have an old zapper that worked for years just stopped working last week. We need a replacement and see this one on sale. Working well right out of the box, no assembly needed. It seems pretty sturdy and weatherproof. It has 3 UV tubes which our old light just have one. Don't know how much difference on cost for replacing the bulb, but working so far. Another good buy from Amazon.

Sturdy light.... kills the bugs.
The plastic frame is thick and sturdy. There is no light switch so it turns on as soon as it is plugged in.The light socket will accept a standard light bulb.Seller service was prompt in replacing a broken light that arrived with the original unit. The unit could be improved by making the screws so they remain attached to the base after they are loosened. (So they can’t be lost). It would also be nice if there was a option to buy a unit with An LED light.

Me Again
I've written a lot of reviews on lousy products lately. No, I'm not going through a divorce and no, my dog didn't die. Just been unlucky with bad products. GOOD: This one kills all the bugs so it does it's job. BAD: Very Bad to me so I will blame myself for not reading enough reviews but, this bug zapper DOES NOT HAVE A LIGHT SENSOR so it stays on 24 hours a day unless you purchase a separate timer. Remember to reset the timer every couple of weeks as the seasons change and the days get longer or shorter.....what a pain. Oh, you can always buy a timer and never reset and just burn the extra electricity all year. My NEXT bug light will come with a sensor, probably going to trash this one.

Recommend for place with lots mosquitoes
When I plug in outlet, the light looks fancy ! I tried in my garage first , I put it in my garage for few hours, I saw the result really amazing. There were bunch of mosquitoes collected on the bottom tray. Pretty recommend some place with lots of mosquitoes.

Works great BUT…
I bought two bug zappers to mitigate a pesky moth problem in my home. They work beautifully. At first you see a few dead moths, but about 6 weeks in I decided to clean the machines. THOUSANDS of dead moths and other bugs! My 3 complaints are that the cord should be longer, the hook on top is too small (forces one to tip machine upside to get it off; making a huge mess), and the dead bug chamber on bottom should not be screwed in but rather an easy latch.
