I use this to get mountain biking. I have used this is some terrible weather, they have kept me warm and dry. I really like the draw string to tighten around the waist.After a ride i use a hose pipe to rinse the mud from the trousers, i stay perfectly dry.

Good product, warms you up, but it is subject to the weather conditions obviously, I'd say it adds 3-5 Celsius to the outside temperature unless you are riding too fast then makes not much difference. Water repellent good rating, not excellent, but you have to consider the raining conditions again, and riding on a bike, water will usually find a way to get in somehow, either because of body position or going through a stormy patch of rain etc. Windproof again I'd say subject to riding speed and how windy is outside, but good overall, Don't feel the wind much up to 15-16mph.

The fleece lining makes these trousers very warm, perhaps too warm for exercise if it's not cold enough outside. I bought the 2XL for a 35" waist and could probably have got away with the lower size but there is a draw string on the waist so it's not a problem. Length is fine, I'm 6'. The trousers kept me dry in a shower but not worn in proper rain yet. They are not restrictive and are comfortable to ride in. The 3 zippered pockets are a good size, even the one lower on the leg which has a shorter zip. Overall very pleased and would recommend.

XL fits 34 waist perfectly. Leg length a bit short but not a problem for cycling/walking.They haven’t let water in & are very warm. The material doesn’t breathe, so probably no good for vigorous cycling in anything more than zero degrees.The cut of these trousers bears little resemblance to the pic in the ad - They do not taper and that means they may get caught in bike chain. Will probably use these more for dog-walking

Waterproof - yessweat profusely while wearing as they are not breathable in any way (in 5°C weather) - yesUtterly pointless - absolutelyIf you want to be dry on the outside but absolutely soaking on the inside these bad boys are for you......

Warm , comfortable,zip pockets are reasonable size Updated 010320,,,,,, just completed 22 mile bike ride on very wet muddy bridle ways and although it wasn't raining these kept me warm and dry through the many large puddles boggy areas

The material quality is good and sizing is comfortable. But the ankles despite the design is still too big to avoid being caught in the chainset.

Very warm.... love these trousers. Not fully waterproof but definitely shower proof and they dry quickly.
