Samson & Son's Hair Regrowth Serum (Deoxyribose (2dDr) 1% formula) (60mL)

I've been experimenting with 2dDr for exactly a year and two months. I've tried different "companies." I've settled on liquid form. As a fan of science myself, liquid is the best way to go for many reasons. But first let me speak on my results. I don't have drastic hairloss. I will say I have loss about 30% and I've been dealing with the same hairloss for 21 years now. Maintaining it since I was 20 years old. This I can say works if you're working with more real estate. I DO NOT see it working if you are full on bald. This will add more follicles to hairs you already have. For example. if you have one hairshaft, double or triple will start to appear in those areas. The reason I know this works, is that. 1000s of micro hairs will popup. This is the snag we're facing when we want to cure hairloss. The last hurdle of trying to mature these baby hairs. A few have sprouted into adults. But here's the good news, I can say for a fact. Out of the 30% hairloss,m I have successfully grown back 15% WITHOUT dermal roller. Today I will begin a full year applying 2dDr with a roller. Now like many of you, I didn't see the big difference between minoxidil and this. I have never successfully completed a cycle of minoxidil as it gives me negative side effects with long term use. So I always maintained my hair with natural DHT blockers. But from experience and time that I used it. I can say it works BUT. It's a pain to use it, 1. because of shedding 2. bad sideffects. Swelling of the face, weight gain etc This is why, I will continue to use 2dDr. Has NO side effects, but the thing I've seen from gel form. Is that if you have blondish hair. It will discolor it, into an orange color. Now lets get into the science of why liquid is the best route to go. Let's use common sense, 2dDr repairs dna. I've noticed many benefits from using liquid form. This has many Anti-Aging effects, just think about it. When using the liquid, it absorbs into your bloodstream. Not only are you helping to repair your hair. You're also helping to repair your body. If you suffer from dark circles under your eyes, this will also help. Gives you better looking skin and so on. It's common sense when you think about it. After years of searching and experimenting. It has all the wins I am looking for when it comes to at least maintaining the hair I already have. Also another "hack" try to come off this for a good 3 weeks. For some reason, when you stop, you will see many new hairs popup. Don't know the science behind that, but from my experience. You let your scalp naturally do it's thing. With it's own natural oils and it seems to awaken those micro hairs. I see a lot of bad reviews on this. It's not fair, if your scalp is full on bald. Nothing is going to work on you but surgery. But if you want confidence and maintaining the hair or stopping yourself from going bald. This is a good avenue to take, I'll probably come back in 5 months. See how my experiment is going with the roller. And recently how I discovered coming off on this for at least 3 weeks really accelerates hair growth. Remember it's trial and error! This shows good promise

I started using this product in May. I stopped using Minoxidil and took a picture using a contraption I built to keep lighting, focus, and camera settings all equal. After about 4.5 months it appears to be a clear decrease in hair density compared to taking Minoxidil. My application was twice daily after washing and drying hair. I did a roll of 2.5mm derma roller to ensure absorption but this might not be safe as it introduces a sugar into your broken skin which could possibly feed bacteria. My hair loss is about maintained for the past 6 years. I have seen no real decline except when I try new products or procedures. So far, nothing seems to beat weekly 0.7mm derma pen with daily 5% minoxidil on days I do not derma pen. I don't use propecia. At this point I appear as bald as I was 6 years ago when I did nothing at all nor used any products. First picture is from May 2025 and second picture is from Oct 2025. A clear reduction of coverage.

Took around 4 months, but Definitly seeing thicker, and fuller hair. Bonus: no side effects.

I’m seeing a definite change in my hairline after two bottles. I even noticed a few new hairs after the first bottle. However, the strength needs to be increased. After 8 months, my hairline has moved, but the hair is not as full as I’d like. I tried switching from this 1% solution to a 2.5% solution by another vendor for a few months but this Samson’s at 1% actually works better so I switched back. I hope Samson creates a stronger solution. Btw, save yourself $15+ by using the subscription option on the 2-bottle set. You’re going to have to commit to at least 2 bottles to see an improvement.

After a year of use, it did not work for me. In fact, i stopped taking it two months ago. I changed my diet and started doing other things that actually worked. Dont waste your money.

Too soon to know. It's not practical to think I'd notice any difference before a few months

This product worked like a miracle for me, I had extremely thin hair on the top of my head and my hair is fully growing back after about 6+ months of use of this product, going through about 1 bottle a month. I used the product evenly on the bald spot on the top of my head every day, the hair did not grow back evenly all at one, it came back a few spots at a time until the full area had grown back, so there were a few months where it was kind of splotchy looking where hair had returned in some spots but not others, wore a hat a lot those few months, so I would not start this if you have some big occasion within the first few months of using this. But after enough use I am happy with the way my hair looks now, it is as full as it has been since I was in college. I see some reviews saying this doesn't work at all, I think their are different root causes of baldness in different people, and depending on the root cause of your hair loss, this product may or may not work for you. I believe I went bald due to high testosterone levels and this worked for me, if your hair loss was due to something else like genetics or alopecia, this may not work for you, I can't say, but I think the negative review here are because this does not work for all cases, but in my specific case it has been very effective. At worst, if it does not work for you, it is not unpleasant to use in any way, no smell and I think the solution is aloe based and leaves your hair feeling nice. If you are exploring hair regrowth solutions, I see really no negative side effects to this product, and the price is very reasonable for what it offers, I think you would be crazy not to give this a shot before trying harsher chemicals like minoxidil or more expensive alternatives like surgery, which I have never been tempted to try, but I am glad I gave this a shot.
