Winco APL-11 Aluminum Sizzling Platter, 11-Inch, Medium

I love these platters so much already. I've wanted a set of sizzle trays for some time but I wanted something like this, in a more rectangular shape and not the traditional oval ones. These are an amazing quality that feels incredibly sturdy. They are thick enough that they transfer and hold heat very well but not so thick that they just weigh an unnecessary amount of weight or are hard to carry. I weighed one of them with my kitchen scale and it came out to 380 grams so they are a fair amount of material per tray. The edges have also been rounded over so you don't have to worry about any razor-sharp edges that will cut you when handling them.I ordered 6 and they all came wrapped in plastic and then stacked. They are very shiny to start with but obviously this can fade over time due to how you use and clean them. I definitely think I could use them even as serving dishes for parties where I just want to keep dishes separate on their own trays.They wash very easily. I don't typically wash stuff like this in the dishwasher. I save that for my ceramic plates, cups, and utensils. They are also a perfect little size so washing a few of these is easier than washing a giant baking sheet.I would highly recommend these and may even order 4 more so I can have an even 10 lol. I can't wait to start making more food and have people over to see them :-)

This is a basic, heavy aluminum sizzler plate. It is good and solid, 10 gage (2.5mm) thick aluminum. It will last probably longer than you. Wash by hand, as bare aluminum does not prefer being run in the dishwasher (it will discolor it). Good value for the money. It came shiny, but will scratch eventually. But that won't hurt it at all. This is utilitarian, restaurant grade cookware. This is not a show piece or fine servingware. I would not hesitate to buy again.

What can you say about a metal plate? It's not supposed to look pretty, it's supposed to be useful in a kitchen. I used them for nachos and it worked great, the nachos slid right off and onto the serving plate with no oil or cooking spray on the sizzle platter. That said, when I threw them in the dishwasher, they came out looking not so great. But again, they're designed to be workhorses in a busy kitchen, not look pretty. They're meant for cooking and prep, not serving. So with that in mind, it did it's job and for the price they're great.

I use this for reheating in my Ninja P-101 Air fryer toaster oven when ceramic plates would be endangered. It is handy and cleans up easily. It is a restaurant item, but must be kitchen only, since I have never seen one used for serving in a restaurant.The P-101 is fabulous, by the way.

Got it as I was looking for something to broil fish in - cookie sheets are too big & flat, and using a cake pan for fish?! Gah! So this is perfect, as the slightly raised edges keep liquids in, and its the right size for portioned fish.It did the trick, though having a good recipe for a lemon butter sauce was part of it!Great price, quality and purpose. Considering a second.

These plates were already chipping off bits of metal when they arrived. They do not seem high quality at all.

This platter is useful everyday to heat things in the countertop oven, and is easy to clean. I did make the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher the first time, and it got that matte looking finish and alarmingly there seemed to be a residue that would rub off. But after hand washing it, the residue disappeared and over time the shininess improved (not that I really care about that) and now I use it all the time.
