The GEL-RESOLUTION® X tennis shoe creates advanced comfort for players who like to control the game from the baseline. DYNALACING™ technology has been strategically designed to hold when extra support is needed. This allows you to experience a locked-in feel when you're making quick transitions. There's also a two-piece midsole design that helps improve stability when your foot lands on the court.DYNAWALL™ technology in the midsole now extends into the heel for added stability during lateral movements. It's a functional feature that's effective when you're running covering both sides of the baseline.

Great shoe, enhanced stability and new technology that supports ankle well
I am a tennis player who goes through 2 to 3 pair of shoes every year. I refuse to buy shoes from tennis racket companies like Babolat or Wilson. Similarly, I ain't buying racquets from asic or North Balance.I have been a big fan of Asic gel series. This shoe is a few steps ahead. I really like the new shoe sole technology. I am also enjoying the Pguard technology that provides a good support to my ankle. Love it.

DO NOT BUY
I genuinely don’t understand how these made it out of product testing. The ASICS Gel Resolution X feels like a cruel joke — like someone took the worst parts of a running shoe and stuffed them into a tennis silhouette. From the moment I put them on, I knew something was off. The fit is painfully tight despite being the same size I’ve worn in multiple prior ASICS models (including the excellent Gel Resolution 9). The toe box is suffocating, the midsole feels like concrete, and the break-in period might as well be a myth — after several sessions, they’re still brutally uncomfortable.Traction? Mediocre. Cushioning? Basically non-existent. Stability? Only if you enjoy rolling your ankle every few games. I could’ve taped cardboard boxes to my feet and had a better experience. And don’t even get me started on the tongue — it folds, creases, and digs into the top of your foot like it’s trying to hurt you on purpose. These shoes are a huge step backward for ASICS. Save yourself the blisters, frustration, and regret — avoid at all costs.

The closest to perfection!
Runs 1/4 size lager, well made, good materials, gives you a good cushioning and great stability when going side to side and back and forward, embraces your feet like nothing else. My best tênis shoes by a mile. And fell like using on my daily use shoe

Heavy. Be sure about sizing
They seem good in quality. The reviews about weight are definitely worth considering. Not sure why they tell you to size down. I had to return because they were too small.Going for something lighter instead

Not comfortable at all
So …I really REALLY wanted to love these Pickleball Shoes…. but they were very uncomfortable. I had to switch to my regular Pickleball Shoes in the middle of a game . when I first put them on, they seem like they were going to be comfortable, but I started to play pickle ball and they were already starting to rub on the outer part of the shoe and cause a tender spot and when I took them off later that night. I had pain underneath my feet. I have eight other pairs of Asics Gel Kayano that I wear normally so I didn’t think they’d be any problem with these, but there was also there was a popping sound coming from one of the shoes whenever I would walk I did see that was mentioned in another review so this must be an issue with the way the shoe was made. Unfortunately, I had to return them. The best thing about them was the color and the look of them, but as far as comfort, no way.! Very disappointed

A step in the right direction - durable and flexible
Not as brick-like as the regular gel 8s - working very well so far

Wide shoe but not good for wide feet.
Performance wise, descriptions says it all. Fit/comfort, not so great, I added an insole as I always do with any of my court/running shoe for more comfort, even though it says it wide its still a little narrow and long for a size 10, I still have a lot of length room in the toe box. There's a lot of pressure on the side of the small toe. If you have fairly wide feet I would avoid buying this, if you got a average foot this is a very good shoe. Also the green color looks amazing.

Excellent purchase
Great shoe for pickleball or tennis. Great lateral support as well as ankle support. Holds up on asphalt courts.
