Hot Max 23202 20 Cubic Foot Argon/CO2 Tank - Empty

I took it to the welding store, they looked at it and gave it an acceptance rating, then took it in the back. They walked out with an old, scarred bottle full of argon and exchanged it.Goodbye to my beautiful, new bottle, but I'm ready to hook up my new TIG welder!

I bought this thing for around a hundred bucks. I took it to get it filled and the guys basically laughed at me. They sold me a 155 Cubic foot one (about 5 feet tall) FILLED with gas for 150 dollars. THEN only 45 bucks to get it filled back up every time I go back. In order to get this DINKY tank filled it would have cost 30 dollars. So for only 20 dollars more initially, I would have gotten 5 times the capacity.

This tank is great, except it was not the same as the picture. The one I received had a female connection, where the photo had a male connection. Not what I ordered. Sent it back with no problems and ordered a different tank. It came quickly and we shippe it back quickly.

the item is not coded for argon but for oxygen (green)

good quality product. met my expectations. good as any tank at the refill store. safety was a concern and the salesman at the refill shop said that it was obviously a good quality tank.
