Wera5003594001 8100 SB 2 Zyklop 3/8" Metric Ratchet Set ( Piece of 43)

I like this Wera socket set for a lot of reasons:1) The sockets are tough and tight fitting2) The sockets are clearly marked both with colors and easy to read sizes3) The sockets are knurled so they can be turned by hand once a fastener is loosened4) The sockets have a slightly roughened finish which makes them less slippery with gloves5) The extensions provided are thoughtfully made. One has a "wobble" feature to allow angled use. The others allow you to lock the sockets to the extension6) The sockets cover an unusually wide range maxing out at 24mm7) The ratchet handle, while appearing "gimmicky" is really well designed. The socket lock and reversing switch are well designed and it can swivel to a screwdriver position. The largish head size hasn't been as awkward as I expected8) The sturdy metal case has a foam insert that grips the sockets. Much less likely to dump them all out it the case is tipped over.The set was expensive but it resolved a lot of issues I have had with previous sets.

Very high-quality many useful features easy to use and understand set very complete. The case itself is made of metal with good hinges, The interior is formed to fit all tools. Set also comes with a good assortment of bits. The only the downside would be the price. I am very happy with the set and in fact have the five other sets in the series, quarter inch, three eights, half-inch and the three metric kits.

I ordered this product after I ordered the smaller metric set but cancelled the small one......I really wanted the larger set and the box.....I read all the other reviews and I was alarmed at the number that were not 100% satisfied due to delivery or other quality issues.....but I did order on 10 Mar 22 and received the order today, 17 Mar 22.....The package arrived with only a plastic wrapping with a sticker.....the corners of the cardboard box were dented so I was holding my breath as I opened the box containing the tools......Great, no damage to the metal box containing tools.....tools were in perfect condition and new.....This set of tools will last a lifetime and be pass down to my son or grandson.....I am preparing to grease the splines in my BMW r1200gs water cooled motorcycle and this set has everything I need in order to complete the job....I am very pleased so far.....Wera is a great manufacturer of professional quality grade hand tools.....

One of the most useful tools I've bought in my entire life. Comes with basically everything you need. Beautiful design and absolutely ergonomic for your hands. The ability to change the angle of the ratchet is divine. Absolute recommend this product.

A nice ratchet set, a tad on the pricey side but I expect these to last a long time. The newest feature on these are color-coded sockets so it's easier to tell which ones you are using or need. The only thing is that the color-coding wouldn't be visible when it's in that case as the part that is color is hidden below the form-fitting form...that's a small annoyance but they should have thought about this when making that design choice given how expensive this set is. It is well-crafted and the tolerance is tight so it's well engineered. Not made in Germany, but in the Czech republic (under Wera QC).

I was impressed when opening this socket set!Heavy duty with obvious quality

This kit has a lot of capability for being in such a small case. Usually these sets are giant plastic boxes that are 30% larger than they need to be. The metal shell and foam are massive improvements over other kits, let alone how much better the sockets and extensions are versus domestic US products. Worth the cost easily.

First off, I’m not a Ultra Handy Mcgyver DIY type individual by any means. However, I know my way around tools relatively well. Which is why upon seeing the initial price tag of this tool set, I instantly declined. Yet, my curiosity got the better of me, and I stuck around reading the reviews and after researching the “Wera” company. I made a super impulsive decision and purchased this tool set. My first thoughts upon receiving it, was that this was the nicest tool set I’ve ever owned. My first thoughts upon actually using the tools to work on my car, was I’m now a Wera Fan, and will make Wera my “Go-To” brand for tools. The quality is quite remarkable. Hence the timeless saying, “You get what you pay for”.Highly recommended.
