CP378 8" Wood Tambourine, Headed, Single Row Jingles

This is a really nice tambourine. I bought it to learn the "gospel"-style of playing, having already tried 10" & 6" tambourines. I found that 10" is too heavy for me to play for very long & puts a bit too much strain on my hand. I like my 6" tambourine as an alternative striking implement on my drum set, but it is a bit too small for the style I'm trying to learn. The wooden frame of this 8" tambourine is quite light & the single row of jingles also helps to keep the overall mass low, allowing me to easily manipulate it without strain. Yet, it is big enough to get a variety of different sounds, depending on where I strike the head with my fingers or palm. I'm not rough with it, so I'm not going to rate it for durability or sturdiness. I treat it like a musical instrument & it gives me the sound I'm looking for. The construction of the frame seems good, & the head isn't too thin, so I expect it to last a lifetime, as long as I take care of it.

I recently bought the Remo economy tambourine because Remos were recommended by several praise tambourine dance instructors, but I didn't like that I was developing a blister where my hand holds onto the Remo fake wood part of the tambourine (by the hole).So I ordered this CP one, which cost nearly half what the Remo cost, so I didn't expect a lot.Well, the CP one is beautiful and well made, and even though it's solid wood, it's lighter than the Remo, and easier on the wrists. The jingles are quieter than the Remo's, and not quite as bright and melodious, but I actually like that they are a bit quieter, and easier on the ears when you practice tambourine dance a lot.I was showing it to a friend who teaches tambourine dance, and she liked it so much that here am I ordering another one. I am pleased with this quality of this product for the reasonable cost.

its o.k. but not worth the money.. it produces no great sound when shaken or thumped. hardly can hear the metal vibes. and the calf skin which sounded good is actually not.. it seems well made but also is truly dirty looking. not pleased with look or performance for the price. some cheap 4 dollors ones make louder noise.. my grandaughter had no interest it it at all..if i had not thrown the box away, i would of returned it..

I bought this for my autistic 3 year old because he loves banging on things, and making noise. He loves this. He makes me chase him with it, he even bangs it against his head but I don't worry about it hurting him. It has really taken a lot of abuse for something so inexpensive and it still works great!

Super light, sound is decent, and so inexpensive I won't cry if the drum head ever perforates.

VERY satisfied with this Tambourine! I purchased for my 2 year old nephew so I didn't want a big 10" one or one that was too heavy. Quality is excellent, not cheap breakable plastic! I love it. !

This is not only a basic tambourine for those who want to use it in the usual way, its also great for my 4m old to very gently tap/ scratch the hide- creating a soft jingle sound to help her learn cause and effect.

I purchased this a while ago because my Halloween group was going to do a Disney Princess and Heroine theme, and this was going to be a prop for our Esmeralda. However, when I took it out of the box it looked as if the top had been water stained, part of it almost see-through and making me worry that it would break with any sort of use. It also doesn't sound very nice, the metal clanking together in a poor imitation of an actual tambourine's sound.

My daughter loves this. Nice size, well constructed. Totally worth it.

Not a professional instrument, but to have some fun with friends, for price and quality, it's worthy.

お値段は安かったのですが、作りはとてもしっかりしていて、音も気にいっています。皮が適度に張っているので、高めの音がして、鈴も軽やかな音です。音楽の授業で重宝しています。
