Skeptical for use in street vehicles
Pedals are a two piece design, with a hard rubber backing, and a stamped metal anodized cover. They attach with bolts and clips to hold onto original pedal controls. Has basic hardware. The only instructions are basic drawings on back of package.I didn’t order this kit for its intended purpose; however, I would be very skeptical for a street driven vehicle. Installation of the kit is straight forward with basic tools. You will need to be able to access the pedals, which may include removing your driver seat in some cars. My immediate concern would be ensuring the parts stayed reliably installed from use, pressure and road vibrations. Use thread locker. My kids wanted to customize their go kart (disclosure, it’s not a manual transmission). We have painted some parts, added a rechargeable light, ordered chrome accessories, and now this kit to truly make it theirs. Had to fabricate the clutch cover to a simple bracket, but you should hear the questions when people see it! If you have a man cave full of racing flags, hoods or valve covers on the wall (guilty here), a gas pedal art piece would be a different conversation starter.

Very slick-looking. The metal is a bit thin, and I'm worried about durability
These look really slick, having a nice bright, sporty red color. Upon opening, you'll see and feel that the red metal is very thin, like soda can thin. And the rubber pad is more like a very hard plastic. These don't seem like they will last very long during everyday driving, but that's not going to stop me from installing them and testing them out. Will report back.
