Purchased these for moving brush, digging, and handling dead or injured animals (I live in the woods).They certainly did the job. Had them for about 3 years, and I only replaced because of a small hole that had worn at the base of my thumb.They're comfortable and sturdy. Highly recommend for gardening.

They are thick! but even for my husbands hands they fingers are HUGE. And I think we both have med/large hands but its hard to do work with them if they are so big. Built very well, beautiful color, made strong, but too big in the finger section.. we wont return because they are great gloves but they would have been perfect if the fingers were not for HULK.

Great gloves for transplanting prickly southwest plants. I transplanted a Blue Agave and two Golden Barrel Cacti with these gloves. The spines will penetrate if you are not cautious, but if you take care handling the plants you will not be poked. These gloves are quality leather and fit me perfectly. I have an XL hand but these would also fit someone with an L sized hand. I particularly appreciate the extra long cuffs to protect the forearms.

Bought these for rescuing & trapping feral cats. These are big but heavy & well made. Will definitely protect you against bites & scrathes! I think they are great gloves for what I am doing! Would recommend for people who are handling animals such as feral cats.

I bought these gloves to help in the handling on cactus. The spines of the cactus go through the gloves.
