These Sunshades fits my Jeep Wrangler JL 4XE, and it’s for both the front and back Freedom hard top pieces for a 4-Door Front & Rear vehicle.These mesh sunscreens will keep you and the inside of your vehicle cooler from the direct sun, blocking UV rays.With any Alien Sunshade product, it has easy hand installation (you could get another person to help you and make it go by twice as fast). It attaches directly to the vehicle roll bars. It has rust-resistant copper rivet fasteners that the elastic bands run through.These won’t even scratch or rust the paint on your Jeep as they’re held on by elastic bands.I’m so excited for the warmer weather again so I can put these on. I keep my freedom hard tops in the back seat in a protective bag in case of rain. These sunshades are well priced for the product you’re getting.

Easy to install

I have been looking for a decent sun shade for my 2024 JLU with hardtop. Most were not compatible due to the addition of the curtain airbags in the 2024s. After seeing this on Amazon and getting a few recommendations for this brand on a JLU Forum I gave it a shot.It came well packaged and had all I needed. Of note, and in the instructions, four of the bungees are left off around the curtain airbags. After installation these four missing bungees did not seem to effect the tightness of the shade or cause it to whip in the wind. I will say the instructions, just 3 steps, are quick and easy but I still looked at the Alien Shade install video online for a better idea of the install.The shade does fit the 2024 well but it is tight. I found it very hard to get the plastic Slim Jim like tool through the gap between the windshield and roll bar frames. I am not so sure the windshield will even drop any more on the 2024 so it was well packed with weather striping and insulation.The two rear bungees were also tight as they were stretched around the sound bar but they do fit, just steer clear if you let one go by mistake... They will take off with some force. I used the slim jim tool to help install all the bungees as it helped to pull them between the hardtop and the roll bar.I attached several photos of the final install with and without the hardtop freedom panels on and off. The cover can be kept on and pulled out of the way to allow access to the freedom panels twist knobs. If anything changes I will update but so far so good.

Out of all the brands of similar sunshades, this was the best quality at a great price compared to its competitors.Quality: The quality of the shade is impressive, and the thing does not move a single bit. This is not a thin mesh at all, and is kind of like a rubber webbing, which provides amazing shade, but still lets you see the sky. The manufacturer's warranty is 10 years, and I can surely see it lasting much longer than that.Installation: The instructions provided are useless, but there are a lot of youtube videos explaining the installation. The windshield bungee installation was not the easiest, so I just ended up dropping the windshield, which was a first for me. Dropping the windshield was simply removing 4 bolts with the Jeep Toolkit. It was much more easy than playing a guessing game with the small plastic tool they provided. All the other straps were pretty self explanatory, Long ones for the back, medium ones for the corner, and short ones for the side. The freedom panels fit perfectly on top of the shade as pictured.*I have to give a big thumbs up to Alien 4x4 for their alien marketing. It truly drew my attention to the brand, and made me look forward to the extra goodies that came along with the product. I loved the presentation in the box with the green confetti, However, the one thing I was looking forward to the most was not in the box. I spent 10 minutes looking everywhere for the small little green alien, thinking that it was hidden, but It was nowhere to be found. I know this is probably ridiculous, but I was, and still am disappointed at not receiving the small alien. I know this is a lot to ask for, but If they could send it over, this company will definitely have the best customer service on Amazon.Summary: Despite not receiving the small alien, the product itself is great, and if you're debating whether to get this brand or another, this is definitely the brand to go with. Great deal, great product, and most importantly, made in the USA.

I was really skeptical when we found this Alien bikini top for our jeep. We’ve had different brands and they were ok but a lot of over long straps and you had to remove it it you wanted to put top up. This one is ingenious! The bungee type straps are easy to use and the top is taut and stretched tight and not floppy at all, it makes no noise while driving. And the best part is you can leave in place when you close your soft top! So great. The mesh is super high quality and durable. I would highly recommend this sunshade to anyone with a jeep wrangler!

This was supposed to fit my 2024 JLU. I have the Adaptive Cruise Control box and I couldn’t visualize the landmarks they indicate for placing the bungees. There’s no way around the front roll bar with the bungees. I tried the plastic loops that are in that area but they don’t line up with the holes on the shade. Since I bought this on sale back in April when it was cool, and it’s been raining almost every day, I just now tried to install it but it doesn’t fit. It’s too late for the return. I am disappointed as we are headed to the beach this weekend.
