Great color and my hair is getting healthier
My hair is over 95% hard to color gray. The recommended 25-30 minutes has never been enough; I need 45 minutes, even when having it colored by a hairdresser. This is the second Garnier hair color product I’ve tried since starting to do it on my own to save money and hopefully get my hair in better condition, about 5 months ago. Both products gave me a rich looking color and did a good job on the grays and my hair feels a lot better than when I had it done by my hairdresser. The first one I tried was Garnier Olia Oil—my hair was pretty dried out and more oil sounded good. It did a good job with the color, but the bulb-shaped applicator was too large for my hand making application both awkward and messy. It also required a great deal more product on the hardest to color areas around the temples. My hair was definitely getting healthier using this versus having it done at a salon. This Nutrisse version uses a regular bottle-shape for an applicator and comes with the developer already in the bottle. Squeeze out the color crème from a tube and fruit oil from a small plastic pack. The bottle opening is not as large as the one on the Olia, so you have to be more precise when adding in the other ingredients, but this bottle is great deal more narrow and easy to grip for both shaking and application. It truly is a non-drip formula and I didn’t have to put nearly as much product on the temple area to get the color to stick. My hair feels better each time I color; approximately every 3-1/2 weeks if I don’t want to look like a skunk. Okay there is one area that I’d like to see an improvement on and it’s the size of the gloves. My hands are on the short side of medium and the glove’s fingers are almost ½” too short for me. This makes it uncomfortable when first starting out. Not sure if the gloves stretch out or you just forget about it and don’t notice it any longer when concentrating on the applying the color. Of the two Garnier products I have to say I like this one better. And the savings for doing it myself when factoring in the tip is roughly $750.

You Know...
I started using this because I went to target. I had a interview out of no where... So I was tired. I was trying on clothes... I didn't want to buy and I looked in the mirror and all 3 mirrors showed uneven colors in the back of my hair. My hair was red. If any of you have red hair you know its a game of reds. I gasped... What the heck. It was so nasty. I have been walking around like this? I was actually embarrassed by the red hair. I am 43 and I have been wanting to go back to my beautiful brown hair. Hair color that I was born with... Red is fun, but for me it is not me no more. I want to look professional you know what I mean. I was starring at the mad hatter in the mirror. I went to the aisle at Target and grabbed this. What it did was start to even out all my circus colors. I started buying from Amazon by bulk. I continued with this color to even everything out in a beautiful brownish colors. The red was still fighting through. This color actually helped me look appropriate for serious work. I am going into the darker browns little by little to get even tones. I am so grateful for this color ( I used 60 Light natural Brown Acorn) I did my roots for half the time and then applied to the rest for the total of 35 min. I continued to use this until everything looked more even. I went lighter first. You know what is said, you can always go lighter but never when you go to dark first. Little by little. This covered my white hairs as well... I have blood issues which helped speed up my journey into white hair. While this sucks always remember white is hard to keep color on. If you ever do a 3 dimensional dye you will always get your whites to light. If you have issues with white hair always go for just a flat dye. Just a nice color with no highlights or special effects. Then you will get one even color. If you like you can even add highlights to lighten up around your face. Be careful with highlights they end up acting like weeds on your hair. To hard to control and to expensive. Light thick around the face is subtle but yet adds a twinkle to the eye. Bye guys...

Darkest Brown is a great deep espresso color
I always buy the Darkest Brown color to match my natural color. After dying, my hair color is a bit darker than the picture on the box but definitely not so dark that it looks black. The shine and color really last for me. I color my hair about every three months with one root touchup in between. I have the "grays" starting to come in scattered on the top of my head and the temples. This product does a great job of covering them up! TIP: Color your grays first then go to the remainder of your hair. Stubborn grays can take longer to color! I do find that my grays are pretty stubborn and come back in about 1.5 months. I use Clariol's Nice and Easy Color Root Touchup in Dark Brown to fix the roots and gray hairs at my temple. The smell of the dye is not noticeable and the conditioner is fabulous! I really can not say enough good things about the conditioner!! I have tried all the drug store brands and Nutrisse gives me the best color (true match), long lasting color and shine and is quick and easy. Flawless every time!

Excellent ash brown colour, quite light for a brown, without any brassy tones at all. However, having also tried the European Nutrisse hair dyes, I noticed that the US version leaves hair quite dry. I wonder why Garnier don't produce this colour in Europe, and why they don't produce the same quality of product in the US.

Really happy with the products result, I thought I might still see my roots but no it blended nicely, I have no idea how people are getting grey or lilac colours and my hair is already died blonde and has highlights. The pictures I have uploaded one is almost all natural hair colour as you can see it's dark hair the other is after I dyed my hair.

I would recommend this product to people, but i am going for the peroxide next,i have always had my hair highlighted up until about twelve years ago.It is really dark, and i have never liked the colour.I never go to hairdressers.I cut my hair ,its short, and ,yes the back aswell, thin it out ,wash, blow dry .The hairdressers always made a good job of the highlighting ,but the cutting and blow drying they always made a pigs ear of,so i would go home and do those two pieces myself.Anyone thinking of bying this product go ahead because it does exactly as it says on the instructions. You get the colour you want.My hair though is slightly too dark for this product.Regards.Lorraine Lyons.
