I love rum, I enjoy other spirits and thought this would be a nice present for myself, it's quite pleasant to drink with a cigar; but it lacks flavour in my opinion, you get a sweet taste at first but then that's overpowered by the dominating profile of the tequila once it goes down the hatch.Not an every day rum for me but certainly a great brand to get as a pretty bottle of novelty poison for a loved one, they also sell whiskeyquila and vodkaquila for those of you whom don't know.The lack of a bold rum flavour is what caused me to rate it 4/5.

Tequila is so strong in taste you can barely taste the rum. Unfortunate as the bottle is amazing.

Bottle cap broken can't open bottle!?!?!? Useless

Honestly all the reviews were not wrong. Me and three of my house mates got this for a Halloween party. We each had 1/4 of the bottle and none of us remember anything. This is magic good bye memory juice. I remember it tasting 100% like tequila and none of the rum but we did shot it straight, I can imagine it might be smoother if mixed into a cocktail. But beware, you will forget at least 8 hours of your life on this stuff !!

Opening the bottle you immediately get that Tequila is the dominant of the two. However when drinking you get the sweetness of the rum first followed by the harsh sour tequila on the throat. Definitely not for everyday drinking.

Really smooth and very very drinkable, the tequila is the more prominent taste.
