Good for steaming meat in Instant Pot
I got the 8.7" version for use with my Instant Pot. I like it a lot. I'm not a big fan of boiled meat. Most Instant Pot recipes have the meat sitting in the liquid during cooking. This keeps the meat out of the liquid and it just gets steamed. I like it a lot better this way. The legs are fairly tall, so you can keep the meat above a bed of rice or pasta. Recommended.

Works fine just not compatible with my pot
The steamer was great , it has 4 little legs that you can use to add some height and they are easy to take on and off the only issue was due to my pots not being tall enough and I was wanting to make some tamales which required me to make them standing up and for the lid to close very tightly .. if I were making short tamales or something else it would have worked just fine
