As described... these are good little carabiners... smaller than one would use to climb, but strong enough to hang a hammock. The only down side is the little hooked end at the closure. Without this hook that holds the wire closure they would not hold strong, but because of the little hook they sometimes get caught up when removing them from a string or strap. I use one of these for attaching my chainsaw to my climbing harness when doing tree work--- it serves well. With four in the package I need to find three more uses for them :)

These are very durable and very strong. We used them to connect a trapeze bar to a pair of chains for hanging it and they've held up exceptionally well. The latch is strong enough that I don't have to worry about it coming open on its own, but my kids can easily open it. I'm very happy with my purchase.(Actually, we've only used 2 of them so far - I'll try and let you know what I use the other two for! LOL)

great price for the number of pieces. Are well made and they'll do what they're supposed to. Pretty big for key chain but would work and I don't mountain climb and they say not to.with these. Anything else is a definite GO.

They seem alright. There is no indication of 12KN anywhere on the carabiners themselves so I am unsure if they actually can hold up to 2700 each. The wiregate is nice and smooth, no grinding and springs back quickly. They are very light in weight and the colors are nice. Overall they don't seem bad, I shall see in the next few weeks if they can withstand the force of my dog.

High quality and hold a good weight. Much better than what I found at other stores.I use them to hold up chandeliers higher so I don't crash into them. I wanted a more open space in my house and did not want to put a small table underneath the chandeliers. I also use them with a hammock.

I read the reviews and descriptions, so I knew they wouldn't hold up to anything substantial, but wow these are weak. I was able to bend the end by hand, so I'm not sure what good these are. I used two of them in tandem to attach my kids wagon behind the lawn tractor and they bent and fell off. It's like a 20 lb wagon. These are junk. They are pretty, if you have a need for something that can't hold any weight at all, but is too big for a key chain. Disappointed.

In short, I can't review these since they're a different item from what I purchased. I got what was shown when I ordered them, but mine are completely different than what's shown now.The current picture of the carabiners shows a blue carabiner with a double-wire gate and no locking collar; not at all like what I ordered (and received).Mine look nearly identical to the "STURME Carabiner Clip" here: https://www.amazon.com/STURME-Carabiner-Aluminum-Carabiners-Improved/dp/B06XD3H1FM/The STURM style carabiner is what I wanted, but when I came back to leave a review I found that the product image is completely different now. I'm not sure what you'd get if you ordered them today.

These carabiners work well when used to attach things to stuff. I use them on my fishing kayak to attach my paddle leash to the boat, to attach to attach a leash from my boat to my PFD when wading and trailing the boat behind me. I use them to attach various things to the crate in the back of the boat, to keep them from going missing while keeping them at easy reach.Just don't buy these to go climbing, they are not rated for that.
