Q: Does it squeak? Or is it very quiet when you shift your weight?

Barely. This was our 3rd attempt at a chair like this and we kept this one. Pottery Barn one squeaks REALLY bad but this one is pretty quiet.

Q: What is the weight limit?

Sorry, wish I could answer that but it was a gift for my granddaughter 11 yrs old. She’s about 90 lbs and I recall that I sat in it when I paid a visit. I’m 130 5 ft tall. It is very comfortable and sturdy, good quality. She uses it all the time and it is perfect for my little bookworm.
