First, I love borax! It's such a safe, inexpensive and versatile cleaner. NOTHING gets my stainless steel sink cleaner! There are literally dozens of uses for this stuff! I did a quick Google search just so I could list a few, but the list was so impressive I thought I would just share it here:1. I appreciate the fact that it's in a plastic container, because the borax I've used in the past always came in cardboard boxes.. just the slightest dampness would ruin the whole batch.My only complaint is that the lid was extremely difficult to remove. I wasn't able to get it off at all, and my husband had to use tools to pry it off! At least it's safely covered.This is a fantastic bargain for a huge supply of quality borax, and, even better, it's made in the USA!!!

Great stuff! It's real borax, and it works like it should. I love this, and the size of this container will last a long time! I will definitely buy this one again, I love the container, no more cardboard things that soak through and clump up the borax. The price is good as well, recommend!

It is safe for both regular washing and HE washers.I like that it can be used as a stain remover and booster, and that it is a natural product. It also does a great job cleaning surfaces and even stains on carpets.This is an excellent natural laundry booster at a very affordable price!

I've never heard of borax before so this was my first bucket. I just wish I knew about borax sooner. There is just so much you can do with it! Mix it with water and you get a multi-purpose cleaner to use around the house. You can mix some with the dishwasher or washing machine. You can use it to fight pests, ants, weed, etc. 10 pounds of borax in a durable bucket. Great value!

The product is as described. Basically, borax is borax, there's no significant difference between one brand and another.The advantage to this is the plastic bucket. Supermarket borax is sold in cardboard boxes and unless you use it very quickly or live in a non-humid environment it will solidify. The plastic bucket provides an air tight seal and avoids that.I do wish they'd made the bucket a little larger as it's filled to the absolute brim. You will make a mess the first few times you use this and when you first open it (which is a bit of chore as it's sealed very tight).Borax is alkaline and so raises the PH of water. That's good for laundry but I use it more for balancing the PH in my swimming pool. It also kills insects like roaches if they walk through it. I haven't found that practical very often but have used it for that in areas with almost no foot traffic.At the current price of $20 it's slightly more than boxed borax but worth it. It's much cheaper than the PH increaser you buy at swimming pool stores and essentially the same thing.

Ive been using this stuff for almost everything around the house. Been using it to scrub down the toilet and the shower and it does really well for getting those tough-to-get-out stains. I also use it for the laundry and make my clothes cleaner and smell better. If you have some old work out clothes that just cant get the smell out this does great.

This means it stores the powdered borax better and keeps moisture out so it will last a lot longer on a shelf or in a garage than borax that comes in the standard box.Borax is good for cleaning because it softens your water and makes cleaning products work better.
