I'm not a beginner, but it comes with everything you would need. No need to Rush to the store to buy something else or watch videos to learn to do the stitches. It explain everything so clear my daughter can do it. It is not easy when you're not even familiar with the simple stitches, so I would recommend you practice SC, SS, INC, DEC and chain before you do it so it ends up looking nicer. Be patient, it took me a couple or hrs over 3 days to finish and I'm not a beginner. Mainly because it is many parts. The hands look hard to do but they're actually easy. I'll be buying more from them, even as gifts!

Bought this to make for my grandson. It was the first animal I have made. I crochet all the time but never attempted something like this. It has everything you need to make these. If you have a hard time with reading instructions. There is a scan code you can scan with step by step video for the whole pattern. Give it a try! My grandson just loved it. This was a great kit!! I had so much fun making this cutie. There were just a couple of issues. First the link to the video tutorial led to an empty play list. Luckily, they had the instructions for the black dragon on their main YouTube channel, so I used that instead when I needed video instruction. Second, I didn’t like having to hot glue the eyes on, I prefer the safety eyes because you can put them exactly where they need to be instead of guesstimating the right place. But those two issues were so minor that they didn’t take away from the fun of this kit.

I purchased this project so I could make my granddaughter some bookmarks, What I truly enjoyed about it, was it had written instructions. They were easy to follow. The yarn was nice to work with, and there was plenty of yarn to work up the project. The hooks were of good quality. And by the time I was done, my granddaughter had two very adorable bookmarks to take with her. Very happy with this purchase. If I needed another quick little project to do I would order from this company again.
