Just put in the fridge, easy to read, and as far as I can tell is very accurate recording the internal temperature.

If you put it in a Freezer it frosts up making it impossible to read, you would need to remove it from your freezer to wipe the face which defeats the object of placing it in the Freezer because any subsequent reading will not be accurate.Fine if you want to use it in the fridge other than the obvious rise in temperature by opening the Fridge door letting in warmer air... Also, it is tiny but it's also very cheap.

I thought that my fridge was defective as it was set on a high setting to keep it cold, but my milk would turn on me when I put it in my milk frother. I have saved to buy a new fridge freezer but saw this whilst browsing and thought that I would need one anyway as electronics and sensors are always playing up in new things. It was pleasantly smaller than I imagined, but it went straight to work, within a day I was able to dial in the correct temperature on my fridge. But I still need to buy a new fridge freezer as my current one is showing it's age in the noise it makes to keep to the correct temperature. All in all an essential piece of kitchen equiptment.

As with everything you get what you pay for. Overall quite pleased, sturdy little unit with very easy to read display. The overall cost item and delivery included was reasonable. My only reservation is how accurate, in the fridge it currently reads 6 degrees, it is difficult to judge but I suspect this is a few degrees above the true temperature, better that way though than under reading and your chilled meats, fish etc going bad.

I got this to test my freezer as the food stored in this freezer always got freezer burn, I defrosted it and brought this to test my freezer after that. It showed that it wasn't getting cold enough and therefore ice crystals were forming on the food. This little thermometer sat perfectly on the shelf and was easy to read. Pleased with my purchase.
