My son is 5’ tall and with his forward arm fully extended, he couldn’t pull the bowstring even with his forward shoulder much less to his cheek.It was a really nice bow and I was sad to have to return it. This is for little kids.

Purchased to get my son into archery. He loves it and the draw weight is not too much for an 8 year old.

First off I'd like to say these are not toys! You can absolutely kill someone or animals with this set. These bows are the real deal. Super sturdy and well made. The directions don't say much about the day to day use of the bow. It talks about maintenance but nothing about not dry firing a compound bow, proper etiquette when retrieving arrows from the target etc etc. Other than that I would recommend these bows to anyone that wants to get their kids outside and involved in this sport for fun or hunting down the road.I was able to adjust them to shot pretty accurate. Quick safety brief and my kids where able to get arrows on target. We shot from about 15ft initially to get the mechanics down. After that we moved back and there were some hilarious misses and some bullseyes!I got a set of these for my son 9 and daughter 8. They are awesome because they have enough lbs to shoot accurate from distance, but can be adjusted for kids that can't draw the bow. My kids have always been into sports and gymnastics so they are stronger than their peers so they didn't have issues drawing the bow but I can see most kids their age not being able to draw the bow without adjusting the lbs. I think the bows a little small. My kids aren't extra tall or have extra long arms or anything but they aren't able to fully open up their chest when they draw and stand completely sideways. That's ok because I got them just so we can have some fun out doors (and prepare for the zombie apocalypse).

Draw length is not adjustable. Weight on heaviest setting does not seem to be a full 25lbs. Too small for my 11 year old, who is on the short side for his age (4 foot 6). More appropriate for younger children.

Honestly I don't understand how the adjustable draw length isn't an issue for more people. I got this for my little brothers 9th birthday and upon seeing him draw it for the first time it looked uncomfortable and awkward for him to pull the string back. I thought. I'll adjust the length, cause that's what it literally says on the box and website. It's a blatant lie. I was hoping to have this for him for a couple years but it looked like he already put grew it. The other people on here definitely must not care about how much they spend on archery. Either it kills their child's passion for archery cause of how awkward it will get for them or they have to buy a whole new bow to keep up with their age making this a pointless purchase. Everything else seems ok . Except for the visible damage in one of the limbs. Also no arm guard was included. Over all absolutely horrible function, lying about what's included. The arrow rest is good I will say and it looks cool but unless your just getting this as a throw away one off present for a child or you have disposable money to buy a second bow if they take up the sport don't get this.

So happy with this purchase. My 10 year old was thrilled to open this on his birthday and be able to use it right away. No assembly needed. The bow came exactly as expected. One problem was that our package was missing the arm guard, but with one quick and simple call to the manufacturer, it’s on the way. They were extremely helpful and the arm guard on its way.

This is an excellent first compound bow for a child to begin on. Definitely needs an experienced adult to supervise - this is the real deal.

El arco en general está bonito y se siente bien construido, con excepción de la mira; con el tiempo encontré que las instrucciones para ponerla están mal, anexo foto de la mejor forma que mejor me funcionó (la tuerca por el lado contrario de como dice). Las flechas que incluye se me hicieron grandes para este arco, recomiendo las de 24 pulgadas. Definitivamente no dá 25 libras, dará 20 a lo mucho. Se puede tirar como a 10 metros, 15 batallando. Con un niño de 9 años (en campo de tiro) resultó "apenas" y tuvimos que darle uno de mayor fuerza, se me hace que ha de ser de 6 a 9 años, niños mas grandes solo que sea para reducir riesgos, usar en el patio y/o otros lugares con espacio reducido...

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and could not believe the quality! Metal instead of plastic was awesome, and being able to grab her a pink one, was the icing on the cake! I will 100% be ordering bear archery again!

Quality children's bow. Bought it for a boy turning 7 and I had to turn down the weight quite a bit in order for him to shoot it.My only complaint is that the rubber finger protectors move around on the string and there is nothing to show you where the arrow should nock. Brass nock rings should be added.

Habia adquirido otros arcos clasicos para mi hijo y el resultado no era satisfactorio.Vi las reseñas de este producto y el precio y me convencí de probarlo, llegó muy rápido, antes de lo esperado y el producto prácticamente viene listo para usarse, desde el primer disparo se logra hacer un tiro certero, la flecha se proyecta en la dirección deseada con una fuerza mayor a la que realmente esperaría para un arco de su tamaño.Lo recomiendo mucho para niños y jóvenes menores a 13 por su tamaño tan compacto, adultos pueden también disfrutarlo pero no será fácil apuntar al estirar el brazo que lo sujeta.los materiales del arco parecen durables y de buena calidad, el único defecto que he encontrado son las 2 flechas que vienen con el arco, el nock se rompe muy fácilmente apenas disparando unas 5 veces, ya tuve que adquirir flechas de tamaño juvenil de otra marca que han demostrado ser mas durables.
