It’s such a beautiful, fun, cute and interactive little toy, my baby absolutely loves it. It auto turns on as soon as it touches water and goes off when you take it out instantly. I like that it doesn’t have on and off button as my child keeps on switching other toys on and off and ends up ruining/breaking off the button, so this one definitely saves us the trouble of having yet another useless toy. It’s battery powered which to me is not the best feature of this toy, how ever the batter does last a long time so I’m happy with that. It’s lightweight yet sturdy enough for a toddler to handle all by themselves. It puts on a lovely colourful lighting display and splashes water like a fountain which really fascinates my little one and I feel like it also helps with their eye and hand coordination which again is a genius idea for a toy. It’s a must have if you have babies at home who love to bath, and if they don’t like bath time, they will start to enjoy their baths with this toy so it’s definitely value for money.

Bath time in our house usually involves as much splashing as a seal colony, so the promise of a glowing octopus that also spurts water sounded perfect. The toy is moulded from sturdy ABS plastic, the edges are rounded, and it sits nicely in a toddler’s grip. The moment it touches the water a sensor wakes up, coloured LEDs swirl, and a little pump shoots a spray roughly 15cms into the air. Even in our chilly Aberdeen bathroom the bubbles end up dancing under the lights like they are at a seaside fairground. Good bits first, there are no buttons to fiddle with, the construction feels solid, and the light show distracts my wriggly nephew long enough for me to get shampoo on his head rather than the ceiling. Middling observations, the fountain is more gentle Highland drizzle than thundering Niagara, and after about a week the jet begins to lean to one side. Grumbles, there is no manual off switch, so once the octopus is wet it will keep gurgling until you open the battery compartment. It needs three AAA cells and, in my experience, they expire almost as quickly as I do when walking up a relatively big hill. Just remember to keep a pack of spare batteries in the bathroom cabinet and curb any hopes of a geyser.

A great toy to make bath time fun where it sprays water from the top, not enough to scare the baby but enough to give confidence to play. The toy is sturdy enough for little hands to grab the legs as it is smooth and light. Great quality for the price.

Stopped working after about 2 minutes despite new, good quality batteries being put in around an hour before use. Don’t waste your money!

We bought the blue Octopus Spray Water Light Up Bath Toy for our toddler, and it has been a huge hit! From the very first bath, our little one was completely captivated by it. The automatic water spray feature is brilliant — it gently sprinkles water and lights up in bright colors, which keeps our child laughing and entertained the entire time.

Prepare your bank for purchasing batteries every other bath, I can honestly say with new batteries fitted this was great fun for my 16 month old. Sadly, it was very short lived as she was lucky if the batteries lasted more than a couple of uses. I think the main issue is that the motor / pump continues to run even after you take it out of the water and this drains the power. It is a great idea but sadly this one is not fit for purpose.

Bought for our baby great granddaughter who loves her bath and this is perfect for her to hold and play with, the spout of water causes lots of giggles and fun. It’s a lovely bath toy, good value and quality. Would highly recommend.

An und für sich süss gemacht, funktioniert allerdings trotz voller Batterien nicht richtig. Läuft 2-5 Sekunden, dann gehts aus. Beim ersten ins Wasser setzen lief es fast 2 Minuten ehe meine Tochter es aus dem Wasser nahm und wieder eingesetzt hat. Danach lief es nur noch sehr kurz und selbst aus dem Wasser nehmen und leicht schütteln hilft nicht. Geht zurück

Für die ganz kleinen ein super Spaß.
