In hopes I can help others in their hunt for the perfect winter bathrobe, I will give you these useful particulars: I'm 5'6" tall and plus size (55" 52" 60"). I was hunting for a soft and cozy, warm, long-to-my-ankles, zip-up bathrobe without a hood in a vibrant color. It took me a couple tries, but I found it in this 3x/4x sized turquoise bathrobe.The size chart says the listed measurements are for the actual garment. As 55" is my bust measurement, I decided against the 1x/2x. I don't find the robe outrageously large. It's big, but comfortably so.I would not consider this a lightweight robe. The fabric is substantial--thick and squishy. Very soft. The sleeves, as is, are too long for my average length arms, but the seams at the cuff are perfect for folding, and possibly designed for this very purpose. I've folded them up just once along the seam and they stay put. If you tried to turn them up again, they would be much too thick and probably wouldn't stay. The arms are a little wider at the wrist than I would like--I find myself dragging them through my cooking from time to time.In the photos, it looks as if the robe goes only to the model's lower calf, but on me, the length is just what I'd hoped for, coming to the top of my foot. The robe zips from both the top and the bottom. The bottom twelve inches are left open and don't zip (I kind of wish they did). You can increase this slit by opening the zipper a bit more if you liked. I don't generally zip it all the way up, but when I do, it's up to my chin. Over my chin, in fact. The zipper is beefy--nice and sturdy.I'd hoped for tunnel pockets but find these patch pockets perfectly placed--I never have to grope around to get my hands into them, and they are large enough for my hands, phone, and anything else I've thought to put in them.I haven't washed it yet, so my opinion on shedding is only my opinion. I can say that I've only found three or four tiny fluff balls since I've purchased this robe. As I've been wearing it pretty much non-stop for two weeks now, I suspect it will do just fine in the laundry. I've seen no pilling whatsoever.The turquoise is vibrant, leaning slightly more towards teal than it looks in the photos. I appreciate the hanging loop in the neck. This robe is nicely made. All seams are solid. There are no scratchy threads (I'm one of those who will clip out scratchy tags and I haven't needed to with this robe). It arrived in an attractive box that you could wrap as-is if you were gifting it.I am very pleased with this bathrobe.

I was reading the many reviews complaining about the robe being too big or too small here and there but they also show that most people do not get the style or fit of this robe.1. UNDERSTAND THE FIT!What it definitely is NOT:My robe fits JUST like the lady in the picture, but pay attention! It is NOT a form fitted robe, it has a generous extra room in the torso, belly area and the sleeves are bit loose so if you are looking for snug fitted robe, this is not your thing.What it definitely IS:This is a wonderful home robe, kind of like a home jacket if you will. PERFECT to put it over your long sleeve shirt without making your arms suffocating, and without hugging your breasts and belly making you look like a sausage.It fits perfect with all that air and the room letting you move easily, your arms, your body, it has enough fabricthat if you unzip it you can wrap yourself x if you choose so.IT is LONG. if you don't like long things then look elsewhere because it comes with zipper so hamming would be messy at the minimum.Why long is good? Because this is what a perfect cold season robe does, it covers you all the way keeping your all legs toasty and cozy.Why loose sleeves are perfect? Because this just right amount of the extra room makes for prefect outer layer that leaves bit room and air and will not make you sweat. Air is good.2. UNDERSTAND THE SIZING...Their sizing is right, but you need to consider the fit and then and only then it makes sense... becausethose who are looking for tight fit in their size won't find it adequate. Let me compare itto the Target sizes that I am familiar with:This Robe sizes compared to the Target sizes as I see them:Small/Medium: Will fit Chests 32-38 inches, Robe length 46 inches = TARGET's Large roomyLarge/XL: Will fit Chests 40-44 inches, Robe length 48 inches = TARGET XXL roomy1X/2X: Will fit Chests 46-50 inches, Robe length 50 inches = TARGET XXXL roomy3X-4X: Will fit Chests 52-58 inches, Robe length 52 inches= Goes beyond my known Target sizingBasically remember that this robe will fit you nicely in the arm and neck area and then it will be roomyeverywhere else and long which is what most people look for in the winter overcoats for home.Flexibility of movement and beautiful overall fit.I normally wear L in Target clothing and I got this in size L that made me feel like I am wearinggreat fitting loose home comfy piece that would equal to Target's XXL which I would definitely gofor my Bathrobe or even a roomier winter jacket for outside if I wanted extra room for sweater in it.Overall GORGEOUS home robe that I have been looking for a very long time.My Pink robe comes with the white Sherpa detailing on the sleeves and the collar but it is alsolined with white cozy fleece all the way inside.I need something to feel beautiful at home in. This fits the bill. It is ideal for watching TV, for working on the computer, for making breakfast for the family, for playing games with kids, for cuddling with hubby.I can wear it zipped, I can wear it completly unzipped or I can wear it unzipped and wrapped loosely x style.I love everything about it. It is not often that you can find a piece that will make you look exactly like a model in the picture, this one does.I love the zipper as opposed to buttons or Velcro as this is so easy to zip up and ready to go..The gorgeous white collar.. if you open it and flip the sides it makes a long V shape and it looks dreamy too.I love everything about it and hope this will help you to find your perfect fit as I almost bought too big size for myself following some misleading sizing guide left by some reviewers who think of it as a fitted dress rather then the overcoat.

Quality, warmth and style is what you get with this robe. I absolutely love it!! It is true to size and the fleece is soft. I like that the zipper goes down further than your knee.

The quality is nowhere near the quality of the other robes that I have purchased from this manufacturer. It's not the one in the photograph either.

It's perfect for winter - material is very soft and surprisingly it's not heavy.It may not be useful for everyone depending on the climate.

La escogí por elegante y abrigadora. Pero el borrego sólo viene en el cuello, el borde vertical y los puños. Es bastante amplia por lo que hay que medir bien la talla. Yo tuve que achicarla un poco y resultó que, como no es tela tejida, se rompió al descoserla, formándose hoyos. Sin embargo es lucidora aunque da un aire a Santa Claus o Papá Noel.
