Great set for beginners or even seasoned embroiderers! Each set is packaged individually with written and photo instructions along with all of the thread needed for that project. The image on the cotton cloth is very easy to read and see where your stitches will go and the included needles go through the fabric very smoothly. The thread is an ok quality and the one included hoop is plastic, but it keeps the image taut as you're working. I like the snip scissors that are included as they are very easy to use. This is a great set for someone to learn basic stitches and be able to complete a project or even for a seasoned embroiderer that wants an easy set of projects to work on.

I'm giving this kit 4 stars because you get only one hoop! In the stock photos, each design is featured with a hoop. I assumed I'd receive a hoop for each, and intended to gift the project I chose not to do. Otherwise, everything you need to make these is included in each design. The muslin isn't very thick so you have to be careful with tearing out stitches because it pulls and disfigures the fabric. The floral designs are lovely, and I love the color combinations.

I do a TON of these embroidery kits. Almost every night I embroider right before bed because it helps me relax so I can fall asleep easier. I do simple to very complex hand embroidery. I found this kit to require only simple stitches that are easily mastered but still has designs that are pretty and sophisticated enough to appeal to an adult embroiderer. The colors are vibrant and varied which makes completing the patterns fun. The quality of the floss is decent without a bunch of flaws or fraying of the floss. The pattern stamp is easy to see and does not rub off easily while you complete the pattern. The quality of the fabric is ok. It's typical. Not super thick but also not wisp thin. It was thick enough to stay taunt in the hoop and not bunch up as you stitch. The needles are decent. I always use my own because I like a really a small, thin needle but I did inspect the needles that came with the kit and I feel like they would work well to complete the kits. Overall I think these are good value for the money for either a beginner or someone who just wants a pleasant but non-complicated stitching project.
