Well, a lot of liquid has been "spilled" on this blanket and none of it soaked through! Takes ages to dry when you wash it cos it absorbs so much water! But it really is excellent. I'm going to buy a second one for the sofa.

Describe as a sex blanket, I bought mine based on a smaller sample. Soft, warm, washable. I'm going to be using it in the winter if not before now the winter fuel benefit has been stolen. And yes it does a good job, having used it one cool evening, I was warm as toast so it'll be bye bye Duvet and struggles with the duvet cover.

Arrived on time, good quality and lovely and soft.Have not tested on waterproofing yet.

Never used it for getting wet, but when we got it out, the loose fluff that came off it was a bit much. The bed was definitely needing de-fluffed.

The blanket itself is fantastic too start with and absolutely stops the bed getting wet.... however..... It is impossible to clean. If you put it in the washing machine it soaks up huge quantities of liquid and any attempt to spin at speed sees the machine walk across the floor violently. If you hand wash that works better but you can't dry it, it's so absorbent or just holds on to huge amounts of liquid. Going to have to return if I can find a way to return something laden full of liquid.

So, I ordered the purple/grey one because my dog is on medication that's negatively affecting her bladder and she's always slept in my bed. I got tired of washing the blankets every night as she kept leaking through 4-5 blankets/sheets (not an eaggeration).Bottom lineThe purple is light like lavender, the drey is dark like gun-metal grey and I love this blanket.Good-SUPER soft and fluffy-Genuinely stops liquid better than 4 layers of blanketsBad-it smelled funny when it first arrived (kind of a plastic smell)-it's tough to wash - when the whole thing was in the washer it unbalanced the washer repeatedly and got REALLY heavy. Didn't spin well, couldn't wring it out by hand. Was still pretty damp going into the dryer. Took about 3 dryer runs to dry.Still, 100% worth the money (to me).

I needed a heavy duty, washable,comfy,soft, waterproof throw to cover the couch, this blanket is amazing!!! 🤩 In the past year I had tried two different couch covers that just couldn't stand up against 2 cats,2 dogs, and kids, but this blanket is up to the challenge. I will be adding more of these in various sizes to my home. Absolutely love this!!
