Python Recipes for Earth Sciences (Springer Textbooks in Earth Sciences, Geography and Environment) Hardcover – Import, 30 September 2022

This book has a good coverage but it falls short of books it apparently tries to mimic such as Press et al (2007; Numerical recipes in all its ). The Matlab version contained more information but the Python version leaves out certain methods since the author appears appears to lack in knowledge to bridge the gap between MatLab and Python. Therefore, think twice about spending the money for this, in my view, deficient version for Python. In short, it seems prematurely published. More work is required!
