We’ve had the Typhur Sync Smart Meat Thermometer for a few months now, and it’s been nothing short of amazing. The wireless probe is a total game-changer, it frees you up from cords and gives you the flexibility to monitor your cook remotely. It charges via USB-C, which is super convenient. I can use the same charger that powers my smartphone to charge a meat thermometer, imagine saying that sentence 20 years ago.The companion app is one of the highlights. It displays incredibly useful temperature data, including readings from multiple points within the probe to show the gradient of heat inside the meat. You even get a real-time graph tracking the temperature over time, which is especially helpful for monitoring the entire cooking process.And best of all: the app is currently free with no subscription required (fingers crossed it stays that way).The thermometer seems to be very accurate. Bought this after wanting one for a long time. This one is great and the price is even better. The temp is right on. Cleaning is a breeze. Loved it so much I bought my son one for his smoker. He reports his is working great as well.

Maintains a great connection compared to Meater models. One star off for not supporting 5GHz Wi-Fi. It can be a pain to get it to connect the 2.4GHz, but it is much better at staying connected to the probe. I keep it in the house about 20 feet from an enclosed grill and smoker with no issues. The app is fine, but not quite as fancy as Meater. Having a digital display and beeper separate from my phone is a great feature.

These are nice that they are wireless, easy to setup using the app. Has smart mode and manual mode. You have the ability to adjust your desired temperature. Comes with certificate of calibration, had two separate problems and both read pretty much same ambient temperatures. Nice to have and can monitor remotely on app

I couldn’t get the Bluetooth to pair. After some frustration I found that there is an on off switch on the side. So I turned it on and voila. It works great in my air fryer. Checked the readings against a good electronic probe. Perfect! Saves me back and forth trips. I hold a doctorate in physics and am just trying to show that educated people do really stupid things from time to time.

A Father’s Day upgrade from my dual ThermoPro wired thermometers. Using an older propane smoker, the 2nd ThermoPro sensor provided ambient temperature monitoring. Wires gone, batteries gone, this Typhur unit has simplified my smoker sessions - easy to use, easy to clean, too easy to maintain (and after the price drop, cheaper than my dual ThermoPro). The Sub-1GHz connectivity is a cherry on top. So Typhur sells a dual Bluetooth unit for ~$199? Owning a second one of these would put me at less than 1/2 the cost of the dual, and left smiling thinking the second receiver unit would be any kind of problem (LOL).
