Good compact case
My daughter needed a small compact case to take with her on her short breaks to Europe that she would be able to take on board with her thus saving the hassle of checking it into hold etc. She's only small and around 5ft tall so she needed one that she could wheel with ease. So of course it fell to me to find said case! 😜After browsing through my trusted Amazon app we finally settled on this cabin approved hard suitcase by Karabar. It completely fitted her requirements. I ordered it on the Sunday night and she received it Tuesday which was fantastic seeing as she was flying on the Friday! The lightweight shell weighing only 2.2kg is made of impact resistant ABS material and means she can lift it quite easily when needed. It measures 54 x 34 x 20 cm which should be fine for most airline cabins and holds 31 Litres. It also has 4 multi-directional spinner wheels to let you move it easily. There is a push button telescopic handle on top that works well.Inside the suitcase it's surprisingly spacious. It has an aluminium frame and the interior is lined. There's a zipped up compartment inside if you need to keep items separate. My daughter has used this several times so far. Once on a flight to Portugal and twice on flights to and from Scotland. She has had no problems getting it onboard and it fits enough clothes in it for a 3 day break bearing in mind that it's winter now and clothes are bulkier! It's also handy on the train because she doesn't have a heavy holdall to carry.Only time will tell how well this will withstand travel but for the moment we're happy with it.

Just the job for those 3-4 day trips
I like to go Hand Baggage only when I can and this - for up to a 3 - 4 day trip (depending on seasonal conditions obviously) this sturdy case is a great option. Already mine has serviced trips to Lisbon, Dublin and 3 nights in Cornwall and has saved be airport time and lugging large heavy bags up and down hotel stairs. What's not to like. With airline carry-on limits generally in the 10kg region this, at less than 3 doesn't mop up too much of that. Size wise it is well within most measurement limits, including the 4 wheels and handles, which are in the main recessed. Inside it has room for enough changes of clothes, toiletries and shoes (I'm UK size 12 and mine fit if needed). I wouldn't say you can go OTT but with common sense it works well.It seems well made and I like the hardshell as it saves the debate on whether it fits the cage at the gate because it doesn't bulge like a softie. My only reservation is that the extendable handle has an unusual amount of play in it. It doesn't make me think it will fail but when wheeling it I find myself pulling on 2 wheels not flat on all 4 - but that's not a big issueHappy to recommend this case - good size, good quality and good price.

Sturdy, roomy cabin case
Perfect little cabin bag, fits in Flybe bag checker, I took to Jersey for a 5 day trip, filled it to 10kg allowance, could’ve shoved more in, but not needed, I still took too much with me? Very easy to roll along on any surface, it also looks very smart, I had the silver and black for my man! Very well made, just need to carefully use the zips , as I think if anything is likely to break it would be the zips, especially if you tried to overfill the case, which you don’t need to as plenty of room in it ,it’s very deceptive when you first open it as it holds more than you’d think.

Great value for money (edited to inc 1 year update)
Please read below for my original review***Start of update June 2019: Have now had this case for over one year. I’ve now done 14 flights and a couple of long train journeys and 1) all is still in great working order 2) I’d definitely repurchase! The handle is still going strong (although I still think it’ll be the first thing to go). But I’m keeping an eye on the zips as recently have needed to use more force than usual - but to be fair I’ve really been packing it to it’s limit!I see in the questions section a lot of qs about the size - this must be the smallest “proper” cabin suitcase I’ve ever seen. Never have a problem getting it on Ryanair (unless they’re full!)End of update.***Great value for money!Looks great, looks much more expensive than I thought was.It is small - but exactly what I was after for a long weekend.Flew Ryanair after their new luggage policy was announced. This definitely fits within their lousy dimensions. Felt good to not be standing in the queue panicking about the size of my case! The wheels/wheelability (is that a word?!) was also really good. Wheeled/glided easily across several types of flooring included bumpy pavement.I've only used it once so can't comment on how long it'll last. But for the price even a few more short trips will be worth it.I didn't give it 5 stars as the handles weren't as impressive as the rest of the case. Not an issue at all but not perfect either. There is no side handle (which helps with the dimension so I understand the design choice) so you have to use the too short handle but thisDoesn't seem very secure. I think this will be the first bit to become damaged/fall off.The extendable pull handle was fine but I can tell it's not the strongest. Which generally wouldn't matter but as you're often using this to lift (e.g. Up and down public transport, high pavements) the case since I personally don't want to overstrain the small handle.....(The inside isn't anything to write home about but perfectably functionable with the separate zip compartment. Packing cubes would be your best friend here, just saying!)Hope this was useful to someone. I'd recommend and at this point I'd repurchase myself.

Nice and serves well
This does the job, a bit smaller than average but it surely matches Ryanair's bag policy. Lightweight, would say it's sturdy but not sure if could survive a throwing game of careless luggage workers as the shell isn't hard thick bulletproof kinda plastic but it's fine for a cabin bag. Like the four wheels so you can push it on your side no need to angle it to pull behind... Can be packed well, zip seemed all right, only missing some pockets inside but that's not a red herring. Overall I'm quite satisfied with it.
