7/32 Inch Black Back Copper Foil for Stained Glass, 1.5 Mil Thick, 36 Yards 2 Rolls, with Copper Foil Hand Foiler

I am happy with the copper foil, but the applicator is pretty finicky. I'd rather just not use it and do everything by hand.

This copper foil is a nice quality and weight. I've been able to get really smooth lines using the provided tool, but honestly I just tend to smooth with my fingernail. However, using the fingernail, sometimes if it's really cheap foil tape it will tear. This hasn't done that at all. And even when creased, I've been able to smooth it out. Once adhered, it is not coming off without some serious scraping so make sure it's exactly where you want before smoothing it in. The surface is nice and glossy. Really I have no complaints with it, but the price of roughly $20 may be a little higher compared to what I generally expect to find here on amazon, that's the only reason for the 4 star. The quality is a 5 star.Peace

Worked Great!

This copper foil sticks perfectly in place on my stained glass pieces. It burns she’s easily without tearing. I love this when I am using translucent glass and my black patina. It accepts the flux and solder well and looks so professional as a finished product! It even comes with a little burnisher if you don’t have one and includes two rolls

PROSThe Copper tape is a beautiful copper foilTape "wraps" easily around glassTape has excellent adhesion (I scraped an applied edge with my fingernails and had to use quite a bit of force to get it to raise off the glass at all)Follows and adheres to uneven edges well (I used a couple of scrap chunks of glass to experiment)Two rolls provides an ample an ammount of tape for most projectsCONSThe plastic applicator is a bit of a nightmare as I was able to easily fit the glass in the groove to apply the tape, but as I pulled the backing did not always seperate from the tape and kept jamming up the mechanism. I am sure with some trial and error I can figure out how to make it work more smoothly, but it was annoying enough to drop one star.

I use a lot of copper foil, and a lot of times, I just can't find the brands I normally buy. It's great to have found a good alternative, and getting two rolls is great.

This foil seems to stick really well. It worked great for my stained glass project. Good price.
