I have been using essential oils extensively now as I have been getting encouraging results from their usage. I have repeated many oils for their great benefits. I was considering buying clove oil for some time as it is very easy to get benefits from it by simply putting in a diffuser and let it soothe and heal and has many uses including skin and oral care but I bought this in a hurry as my mother was getting frequent spells of tooth ache and the first thing I thought of was cloves since traditionally clove is a favourite home remedy for pain in gums, cavities and toothache. I took some sterile cotton and added a couple of drops to it and mom kept it between her aching teeth. She got a quick relief from pain. 🔹About the product 🔹 This came packed in a small but sturdy pack of brown cardboard box and had a amber glass bottle inside covered with bubble wrap sheets. This is a good protection for the glass bottle. The bottle has a inbuilt dispensing unit for getting 1 -2 drops at a time. This is a concentrated oil which is very potent and you need to be careful as the undiluted oil upon coming in contact with skin can cause burns. This needs to be diluted with water or carrier oil. The aroma of clove is something most Indians are familiar with. This oil is strong, warm, spicy, volatile, pungent but soothing and relaxing. This is therapeutic grade and pure oil and it is ok to use inside the mouth. I took a drop on my finger tip and felt the strength of this oil. There are great benefits that I shall share as it is not just meant for toothaches ! I have been using it in diffuser. I have used for mouth rinse and even used in the bath tub and liked the experience of it. It will clear the sinus and relieve the pain. you can use a few drops each of citronella and clove oils in a diffuser. Mosquitoes will stay away from the area. It is good for acne and it is something you don't expect from a strong oil capable of burning the skin but when diluted it works. Mix just 1 drop of clove oil in 1 Tablespoon of slightly warmed coconut oil and apply it on the face. Clove oil will clear out the acne infection. If suffering from indigestion / gas you can add a drop to jojoba or coconut oil and massage on the tummy. It is helpful in weight loss also.as it speeds up the metabolism. So this essential oil is anaesthetic, antimicrobial, expectorant, antiseptic, rich antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-fungal. It is a must in your EO collection according to me.
