Yes, this tasted like ice-cream, but in a word, nope, not for me and tasted very artificial and chemically.So you get these freeze dried candies in a resealable bag. When you put one in your mouth, they start to slowly melt and engulf your whole mouth and before you know it, you're overwhelmed as if you blasted yourself with a very large vanilla scoop with an almond aftertaste and then slowly followed by a tiny zing of what I would identify as lemon, but when having a real ice cream, you can taste the milkiness, however with this, it's just a strange smooth, sticky and tacky texture.

Vanilla much better, banana flavour sickening. Stick too freeze dried chocolate ice cream flavour

Get about half a bag of medium sized rectangle shaped bars. Tastes a bit like chalk with added chocolate bits. It sounds and looks off but they’re good if u keep eating them. Would I buy them again? Probably not.

I ordered these freeze dried candies having tried and enjoyed freeze dried sweets previously, however this was my first taste of freeze dried ice cream.It arrives in a resealable pouch, which has all the important nutritional information, and a best before date of just under 2 years.Taste wise although I was really looking forward to trying them I have to admit I was dissapointed, the flavour is primarily vanilla, with the tiniest hint of almond, I didn't taste any of the lemon flavour that I'd expected to taste. The texture is the usual crunch you would expect from a freeze dried candy, but even that was less crunchy, and more chewy when I opened the pack to try another a few days later.Overall if you like crunchy, vanilla flavoured sweets you may well like these as they aren't unpleasant, but if you're expecting a primarily almond and lemon flavoured sweet you may be dissappinted.
