Useful simple item. Doesn't take up much space & does exactly what it says. Stickers for the measure are handy to mark the water level best for you. For me, to produce 2 large nicely hard boiled eggs the water level is mid way between medium & hard on the measure - white cooked, yolk well done but not dry. Remember to pierce the fat end of the egg (where the air pocket is) & place eggs fat end up in the holder. Good the light flashes to know when it's working. Buzzer not very loud but it does turn itself off at that point. People have mentioned unsightly residue in the bottom after cooking - wiping it with a damp cloth while still warm cleans it up. All in all very pleased with the purchase, definitely recommend

Really liked the look of this egg cooker But the function made it unusable. Tried it out three times. Hard boiled. Medium and soft which uses different amounts of water Each time the water bubbled up and leaked from the unit on to the counter and so unusable

The point on the bottom of the water measuring cup is not long enough. It needs to b about 2 mm longer; it only just penetrates the shell. Otherwise it produces perfect eggs.

Product was working well until now a mere two months after purchase. Unfortunately it has started to leak water whilst using. It’s not a case of overfilling as I use the measure supplied, no means of contacting supplier it seems, so it may well have to be binned. A real shame because it was a good reliable egg boiler .

More convenient than boiling because it turns its self off and doesn't boil over. Eggs fine. No complaints.
