OFF! Botanicals Insect Repellent Wipes, Mosquito Repellent, 10 Count Individually Wrapped Wipes

I found these wipes to be very effective and easy to carry on day hikes. My favorite bug wipes were the "Avon Skin So Soft Bug Guard Plus Picaridin towelettes," but I can't always get these because they're sold through Avon. Avon has dedicated local representatives, the shipping is slow, and it's much more expensive. Avon's towelettes are much larger than these wipes, but for convenience and cost, I have to choose the "OFF! Botanicals Insect Repellent Wipes." Depending on the season, my area becomes swarmed with mosquitoes and ticks. I usually wipe my face, neck, arms, and legs with one wipe and pack another for later. A wipe sounds pretty wasteful, but I prefer the idea of using a wipe rather than spraying myself with a super-stinky bug spray just to walk around in the woods. The bottled bug spray also doesn't travel very well. There is no strong chemical smell. The product feels lightweight and dries quickly. The box is small, and the packets travel very well. I will be buying more of these in the summer for sure!

They work incredibly well at keeping mosquitoes away, and I feel much better handing these out to my kids than dealing with spray bottles they might misuse or lose. These unfortunately didn't prevent bites for me. Mosquitos love me and I get bit a lot if I don't use a repellent, even through jeans and thick sweaters. My bites turn into large, itchy, red lumps and can hurt. I need something stronger then these Off Botanicals and am trying Off Picaridin now instead. I do like the single packets concept though because it makes it easier for me to carry in my purse in case I need repellent. I have the Off Deep Woods single use packets and they're very convenient.

These wipes are really great! I've used them in Cancun and Jamaica and have not been bitten a single time. I am usually a magnet for mosquitos. The one time I was bitten, I did not use these wipes. They're not overly greasy and have a pleasant scent. I highly recommend them!
