Works well. Easy to fit and stable. Reliable charger. Lost 1 star for providing a car charger port interface that didn't fit well. Bought a different one and working fine now.

I liked it fine - it held my phone in place during my everyday commute and charged it. But in the end I returned it because (1) it was USB-C with a fixed cable, and (2) it didn't sit nicely in my car (Toyota Camry 2008). I actually purchased several MagSafe car chargers, some from iOttie, some from ESR, some from a few other brands. I wanted to compare them and find one that works for me. My phone (Google Pixel 9 Pro) charged slowly when running Google Maps and Spotify over Bluetooth, maybe a few percent an hour? But then again, none of the chargers I've looked at have charged it quickly, and mostly I just didn't want it to drain on the drive. It didn't charge any faster than the non-Qi2 version, either. Not noticeably, at least. Magnets were strong. Grip on the vents was strong. Major positive was the all-cardboard packaging. Really appreciated that. Major downside was the fixed cable. I just really don't like a fixed cable. I want that flexibility. Also, I have some USB-A car things, so I needed an adapter that has both, or use two adapters. When the margins between these is slim, this is dealbreaker.

This seems to superheat my phone. I suppose that in the summer with the AC blasting, the cool air would fix that. However, it is winter and it is not needed. the description says that there is a fan blowing, but I don't think it works.

UPDATE 10/24/24: I suspected that the phone doesn't hold - not because of the magnet strength, but rather because of how the phone was positioned. The bottom of the phone was laying against a curved part of the dashboard. Every small bump caused the mount to shake vertically as well, and the curvature had pushed away the phone from the mount - causing it to drop. After repositioning the mount on the vent, and making sure it won't possibly get pushed away by small bumps, the sturdiness became apparent and the phone hasn't dropped for me since. Even with the case on. Super satisfied, and updating the rating! ---- Original review: Honestly, I really wanted this to work. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I loved this mount for the first few weeks. It held the phone well. I'm not really sure what had changed, but the magnet became weaker afterward. Random bumps in the road or small speed bumps in parking lots caused the phone to drop countless of times. Initially, I assumed it had something to do with my case (Even though it supports MagSafe!). So I removed it and started driving without it. But when it suddenly dropped even without the case, I realized something was defective with the mount's magnet and not my phone. It turned out quite disappointing for me and I wouldn't buy it again. I'd recommend others to get a different mount with a stronger magnet.
