Met a need to finish a a craft items.

These balsa sheets have a nice straight grain and no knots. They split pretty easily along the grain, but balsa wood is known for that. The sheets can be cut with a hobby knife but they're also thin enough that I was able to use scissors to cut them with ease.The wood sheets come unpadded and just wrapped in plastic, so be aware that damage during shipping is likely.

This 5 pack of balsa wood has proven great for my crafting needs. I was hoping to use a combination of thin wood and my cricut maker to make ornaments my daughter can paint. The balsa wood worked perfectly well for this, and did not split or crack while being cut/upon removal. There were no obvious knots in the wood and it was pretty smooth. No obvious splinters. I’d say it is true to size as it was listed as 12x4 and when I attached it to my cricut mat along the markings that’s about what it looked like. Obviously it depends what you’re hoping to do with it, but if you’re looking for balsa wood in these dimensions, give it a try, I had a very good experience with it.

These are a great quality balsa wood! I use pieces like this for various crafts, but also for dollhouse parts for furniture. They can be stained, cut, sanded, whatever you want to do with them really. Especially painting them. For five nice sheets of this that are unblemished, no burrs, and not warped? This is a great deal. Highly recommend.

I have been using my Cricut maker 3 for about a year and never tried to do anything wood. I wanted something small that I could practice on and these were perfect. Quality is actually really nice for the price and can be used in various projects. Fit great in my Cricut, no cutting issues. Definitely will getting another pack of these for cute little signs around the house!

These wood sheets have the consistency of balsa wood. Each sheet is 12” X 4” and the thickness is 1/16 inch, and is pretty flexible along the wood grain. The surface is smooth and well-sanded. My plan for these wood sheets is to make dollhouse accessories. Because balsa wood can be easily cut with scissors or xacto knife, I won’t need to use a Miter-Saw.Reason for the 4 stars? As seen in my photo, one sheet has an irregularity. The sheets arrived in a simple plastic bag. I wonder if a better more insulated packaging might have helped? One sheet of balsa wood can be pricey, so these five sheets are a good value. They are good for craft projects, especially school projects.

This is a package of flat straight grained slices of balsa wood veneer that arrived in good condition without any cracks or warpage. I plan to use this in repairing some old toys and I think it will be ideal for the task.
