Disinfects & purifies a whole room. I move it from room-to-room and disinfect the complete home. Works as advertised. Well worth the money. It's not odorless. There is a light smell but, not ozone. Photo of the Quantadose card that clearly shows UVC is in fact working.

This does not generate enough to be actively germicidal. Note the 3 pics of uv sensing cards. The card is considerably darker from just being held outside on a partly cloudy day in the midwest. Note on each pic, “uv-c” is lit up in top box, verifying it is actually in the spectrum. Note the background on the bottom box- pic 1 is the natural color of card- white; pic 2 is how dark background gets and you can see it is about 6-8 inches from lamp- maybe you could call it moderate to low. The final picture is how dark the box gets from being outside on cloudy day- considerably darker- high to very high. Why pay for this lamp- and please dont rely on them for important health needs. It appears only the large really expensive systems bought for thousands elsewhere are effective. Hopefully they will find a way to make the real deal affordable soon. Until then, dont waste your money or your effort/hope.

I purchased this light and hope of having an effective way to quickly remove viruses and bacteria and surfaces in My Home. One of the reviews posted used a UV dose test card to test the effectiveness of this light. The reviewer claims that the UVC lettering never showed up when exposed to the light. But the fact is the UVC lettering on the card only shows up when the light is on. So what you have to do is take a picture of the card while the light is on. The UVC lettering on the card does not remain illuminated once the light is turned off. There is another box on the card that has the word ultraviolet in it. It becomes more and more purple the higher the dose of UV light is applied to it. This box stays illuminated after you turn your UVC light off. I used two different cards and this light passes with flying colors even at a distance of 10 feet.

Unfortunately, I had to send my item back for financial reasons but if I kept it, I’d probably be better off considering I had a really bad skin infection at 254 nm its a germicide not just a sanitizer. Also kills bedbugs within 10 minutes invaluable tool for public places for those with compromised immunity, skin infections, parasites of any kind who can’t afford a secondary infection just overall smart and underused as soon as I get the money I’m going To get another one to replace the one I had to send back -sigh-regret doing so! it’s a NO BRAINER. Usually when technology seems too good to be true, I wait…this is the exception to that rule! amazing as long as you use it safely. i’m stunned that these things are not more popular there in hospitals there in schools, indoor stadiums, etc. yet not in homes! It’s bananas to me! Like WHY aren’t they everywhere? Covid wouldn’t even be a thing!!! Oh, answered my own question there didn’t I? 🧐

Just plug it in and let the lamp works. It's performance is easy with the remote control and the settings for 15-30 or an hour. It's 100w two bulbs illuminated the whole room and compared to others is within a good quality for price.

I have no way to measure bacteria, virus, fungus etc.. before or after, but I have seen it eliminates moldy smell, I leaves a residual smell (not ozone) it smells like burnt, it disipates after 10 min ventilation but it is noticeable. Please do not expose your skin, eyes, pet's, plantas, etc.. this light WILL CAUSE PERMANENT HARM if exposed.
