This light is very bright and had good gobos, which you don't find on the really cheap movable head spotlights. Running it on DMX was very smooth and there was good control of the unit.My only issue with it is it's not an LED light, which I suppose is why it's so bright. It takes a while to "warm up" the bulb, so it requires a little forethought in running the light. You can control whether the bulb is energized via DMX control; which wasn't something I was used it. You'll also need to replace the bulb far sooner than an LED unit.I ended up not using this for the stage show I was designing, as the overhead of the bulb, heat, and fan noise were more than I wanted to deal with for that show. But this spotlight is nice. It's smack in the middle between the el cheapo lights and the more expensive ones and I think is a good choice for people who want a good movable head spotlight with good gobos and control, but are on a budget. IMHO, you need at least four movable heads to product decent lighting effects, so you're never buying just one of these, and this light would allow you to buy 4 for the price of one of bigger one.
