Birthday candles are those one and done type things, especially when themed like this one (used for Minecraft). The candle burned slow enough to get through singing Happy Birthday, twice, with no major mishaps or quick burning wax everywhere.The pictures definitely look red but the candle itself is more of a brownish tone with the TNT design sprayed/painted on, and only on the front portion. The back is flat, this is not a rounded candle like a balloon, it is rounded on the top and flat on the back; the back is plain with no design, just brown. Expect just slightly less of what's pictured and all is well. The 8 year old didn't even notice or care much and was just happy to have a Minecraft themed party with a candle to blow out. If easy going and mellow is the party ambiance, this candle is perfect. If looking for something very detailed and specific, would suggest assessing alternatives that may be more fanciful. For what it is, it works great!

Exactly as described and perfect for my sons minecraft themed birthday party. Nice candle quality and burns for as long as you need for its use. The colors are vibrant and its just fun overall.

This TNT number 9 candle was a hit with our son—he loved it! It looked great on the cake and fit the Minecraft theme perfectly. The red is more of a muted brick red rather than a bright red, which worked well for us, but something to note if you’re expecting a bold pop.We had it lit for about a minute during birthday singing, and the wax held up great with no quick melting or dripping. My kid loved it, and the fact that if looked like tnt. It didn't melt to fast to were it got on the cake.

My son loves Minecraft and that was the theme for his party. He felt really special about getting the TNT candle. It was cute and definitely fit the theme of the party well! Texas was not blurry or unidentifiable. It burned at the same rate as all the other birthday candles. If you have a little who likes Minecraft, and are having that themed party, I recommend getting it!
