Honeywell HEPA-Type Replacement Air Purifiers C, Pack of 2, 2 count, C Filter, 2 count

It's difficult to review an air purifier filter separately from the air purifier it's used in. They function as a unit, after all. That being said, I'm pretty happy with these filters.These are a standard size HEPA filter; you get two in the package and actually, I find the price to be quite reasonable. (I've seen other HEPA filters with only ONE in the package for a similar price.) Because they're a standard size, they should also work in air purifiers from other manufacturers. They're definitely the right size to fit in my small Holmes air purifiers, as well as my Honeywell Pet Clean Air tower.They certainly pick up a lot of junk out of the air. I have cats, birds, and an aversion to cleaning, so anything that helps cut down on the dust is appreciated. These filters certainly help in that regard. They seem to work pretty well even when a fair amount of material has accumulated on them, which is nice.

Ordering was easy and delivery was fast. This filter was a perfect replacement for my original.

Filters are easy to replace, but the fan will verbally break down. Might as well get ready for that and get a better fan. But no issues with these filters for the time that the fan was working.

Edit: they do fit over the intake for the air purifier, but there is a gap. Since they are such an economical replacement, I opted to shove a dowel in-between the filter lip and the little plastic piece that holds them in place. When the air filter is on, these stay "suctioned" to the intake, but when you turn it off, they do release, but are mostly held in place by the plastic grid that runs the whole height of the back of the filter. See pics.I have a Whirlpool model APT30010M air purifier from 2012. The air filters are hard to find and expensive. On Amazon, the filters are $30 EACH. I took a gamble and ordered these Honeywell ones since they seemed to be the same size. They FIT! So instead of spending $60 for new filters, I can replace mine for $27.Just to be clear, these are a replacement for 1183900 HEPA Filter for the Whirlpool air purifier.They work just fine and even come with a pre-filter. I received genuine Honeywell filters - two of them.WIN WIN!

I purchased a smaller Honeywell air purifier and was having trouble finding the filters that would work great for us. Some of the filters are not made to put up with if you are a smoker. This filter has a charcoal filter built in which was huge because that is what helps keep smoke and pet dander from going back into the air. This has helped greatly with cutting down on the smoke in the man cave and is not going into the rest of the house. Have even noticed the pet dander issues (trust me when I say we have a zoo). The sneezing and coughing has been reduced greatly. The filter is not getting clogged as fast without the filter built in. These are the best price for this type of filter and well worth the purchase.

I have no idea what "sheerness" means in terms of this product so can''t address that. I happened to replace the filters on my unit just in time for the wildfires this season; thank God I did. The air quality in my apartment is vastly better than the outdoors, even tho the filters don't do anything for the toxins. I recommend an air scrubber for anyone on the West coast... It has been especially helpful with allergens.

I have had my Honeywell Air Purifier in my master bedroom for years. I always vacuum the dust and make sure the filters are clean. However, I finally noticed a sticker that said that these filters should be changed every 6 months! omg....more like 6 years! So I ordered them and they fit perfectly and the air is definitely fresher. Update: 3/1/22 - ordered them yesterday and they were delivered early today. They have been updated to include "pre-filters" on the back of the filters, meaning that you don't have to use the big "pre-filter" on the back grate anymore. I called Honeywell and you can use the big one if you want as it is extra protection. They are great filters as usual.
