Great product with simple ingredients that work!

I really love this shampoo. Many times with shampoos I’ve tried. They leave my scalp super dry and irritated. This is the only thickening shampoo I have been able to find that is not drying or irritating. The only con I can find about this product is that my roommates won’t stop stealing it!

Reviewing Feel Confident Haircare Thickening Shampoo. First off, at nearly $4.00 per oz, this is not an inexpensive shampoo, so my expectations are also higher. The advertising says it is formulated by a leading hair restoration surgeon, but doesn't tell you who. The Saw Palmetto, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Curcumin, and Caffine are only 5 of a very long list of ingredients, so I'm thinking that this 'surgeon' collaborated along the way. No matter. It does say it's vegan, so no animal products, and also hypoallergenic & paraben free. It does have a very pleasant, very light scent. It is easy to use - just pour out a SMALL amount and apply to wet hair. It doesn't take much to get a decent lather, so use sparingly. Start very small and work your way up. The shampoo is also easy to rinse out. I do use a conditioner, both a rinse out version and, before combing out, a leave in conditioner to help with tangles (I do have long hair so tangles are always a problem). After a few uses, I do notice more softness to my hair and an overall healthy look to it. The very ends are still a bit 'fly away', but definitely not frizzy at all. Since I do use leave in conditioner, and I avoid using heat (hair dryers or curling irons or straightening irons) it is difficult to determine whether the moisture level of my hair has actually improved at all. My guess is that it may have as it does feel thicker. Not by much but just enough to be noticeable. So, overall, I would say that this shampoo does live up to its hype. At this point, for me the question is are the improvements on a scale great enough to make the price a reasonable expense? My hair was not unhealthy to begin with, nor was it at all 'dry'. What it is, is thinning slightly. So, is the slight increase in 'thickness' enough of a change to make it something I want to continue using, and will it increase even more with continued use? It won't be until this bottle is empty before I make that decision.

I really wanted to like this shampoo, but unfortunately it wasn’t a good match for my hair. I didn’t care for the scent, and more importantly, it felt very stripping on my hair. I have a 4B/4C hair texture, and after washing, my hair felt overly dry rather than nourished. That said, it does lather well, has a thick consistency and rinses out easily, and doesn’t leave behind any buildup, which I appreciate. I can see how this might work better for people with finer or less dry hair types, but for me personally, it’s not something I would continue using.

I love this shampoo ! Smells amazing and leaves my oily scalp super clean. It’s thick and makes a lot of suds which I love. I have super curly hair and this shampoo left them poppin’

I love the smell of this shampoo and how hydrating it is for my curls. My scalp feels squeaky clean after using it! Glad i purchased it, my new favorite!

Made my hair thicker and doesn't leave it feeling greasy like some other high-end shampoos do to fine hair. Smells clean and light. Definitely recommend!
