Creative Aurvana Ace 2 with xMEMS Driver, Lightweight True Wireless in-Ears with Bluetooth LE Audio, Adaptive ANC, Ambient Mode, Built-in Mic (Renewed)

These are a great pair of earbuds. I bought them for my wife who has never used earbuds before. I have been using the Denon PerL Pro's but I knew that she would not like the full in-ear design of the Denon. These fit well and have ANC. These sound great with the xMEMS technology, paired easily and were a great value as re-manufactured. My reason for not giving this 5 stars is that the earbud tips were not cleaned by the reseller from the previous owner and it was obvious because of the wax buildup inside them. But that was simple enough to take them off and to wash them.

Highly recommend these amazing buds at this price range. Rich base and even better separation with the Low Latency mode turned on within the Creative Aurvana app. This task to install app wasn't made apparent in the quick start guide. Noise cancelling is sufficiently able. Battery life on the shallow end but ~4 hours is more than enough for my use.

Attempted to use as a replacement for AirPods. You must use both earbuds at the same time they do not work individually. Audio desynchronizes between the two buds intermittently. Updating firmware must be done manually while buds are out of the case. Sending mine back immediately. Found all this out in the first hour of use.

The sound on these is AMAZING!!! Everything else is mid to minimum quality. From the high pitched whistle when you put them in you ear to the case's top insert slipping out. I'm happy with them. I just wish they had sunk a little more $$$ in to the build quality. They could have moved the heat through microphone somewhere else so that it didn't whistle when it's covered up. The microphone is muffled. They are difficult to dislodge from the case. I wish there was a protective cover. I just learned about the MEM mini. I'm wondering if they are better...?

I personally didn't like these, there was almost a wooly/wooshy tone to the higher frequencies that I couldn't EQ out. However that's the nature of IEMs and sometimes they're simply not right your your ear shape.Everyone else LOVES them and someone else took them off my hands.
