Q: Is it a rigid liner, or soft rubber? Also, would it be slippery for dogs to stand on?

It is rigid but not thick, it's more like a tough plastic. I don't have a dog so I am not sure if it's slippery but I know for adults getting into the car due to all the rigids it's not even after armor all wipes.

Q: does this item cover the entire back area when the seats are folded down.

It covers the trunk area completely, but if you're asking if it covers the back of the seats that are laid down then the answer is no. I can see why you would ask that based on the picture.

Q: Does this fit 2021 Toyota Prius ?

No, the trunk of the 2021 Prius has changed in shape. The front and 2nd row floor pans are unchanged.

Q: Will these fit 2017 Toyota Prius or not ?

If you still need to know, these do in fact fit a 2017 Prius Two. I just installed them in my 2017 Prius Two.
