2818 Shutter Starz Professional Photography Studio 2 x 65 Watts Lighting Umbrella Kit

This product was less than I expected. First of all, the light bulbs that come with it give off this harsh white light that looks a little unattractive when shooting with different lighting conditions. Second, they say that the umbrella that comes w/ it is black on the outside and silver on the inside. Well, the one I got was white and hardly made a difference at all! Thirdly, it doesn't come w/ instructions, so I didn't know how to store it, although it is pretty obvious how you set it up. In conclusion, If you're looking for a softbox that will give good lighting for portrait or fashion photography, I suggest you keep looking.

I bought these for a low cost studio solution and I have found them to be made quite well. However, the umbrellas were white not white/black as advertised - they were translucent white. so you cannot use them as a bounce situation as shown in the photograph - you can only use them as a "shoot-through" diffuser.Still, they are made well enough for a good set of starter components for a larger system.
