Works like a charm
Bought these when I noticed mice tunnels in my attic insulation. I caught 6 mice in less than 6 hours. Using Cookie Crisp cereal for bait.

No mouse injured
The city is constantly under construction building and roads which has led to a mouse infestation, and being row homes they travel. I purchased these and have trapped and released the critters. Better than finding them dead at the foot of my bed from oir cat calling me a bad hunter!

Fantastic humane way to catch mice!
The media could not be loaded. Background: My highly intelligent tech savvy gaming significant other replaced the old carpet with engineered bamboo floors, but never replaced the trim in the living and dining room (dramatic sigh). Low and behold now the weather is changing and the little critters are looking for warm places to chill. Now we have been plagued for about 10 days with field mice. Below the story continues...Pros: The traps arrived on time and looked exactly as advertised. Getting 4 of these humane traps at such an affordable rate is a WIN for us! These traps are the perfect size for a mouse. It did come with a very detailed instructional box, tip sheet and you can go online and get even more info! The compact brush that comes with it, is stellar! That way you can keep it separated from any other cleaning supplies you have. The back door pulls out easily and you can place your bait there. This trap is pretty sturdy for the price point. It has two little compartments in the back. One for water and one for food. One of the best features to me is the door that stays open, until it's sprung to close by the weight fluctuation further inside! The manufacturer does give the tip to tape a coin down on the spring board, in case you are dealing with lighter baby mice. To me an animal is going to be more afraid to go and grab food, if they have to push their way through a door, so I think that feature is the BEST!Cons: A little handle on the top of the house would be convenient, only so you wouldn't have to carry it loaded so close to you. I ended up placing the trap in an additional box as I drove him to his next adventure in the dark. Please check the measurements before you purchase, if you have a rat problem. I am not sure this item is made for them. You could write the seller ahead of time for more details about that. The manufacturer states you can leave the mouse inside overnight, but I just took it away to release. I didn't want it to have to wait 6 or 7 hours in there, so I did drive it 8 miles away around 2 am.Experience: The glue traps (with bait in the middle) sat empty for days. After 8 or 9 days one finally wandered onto one by mistake. The snap traps they were just nibbling the bait off and vanishing into the night. When I received these traps I loaded them up (wore gloves) and placed them down at 10 pm, and we caught a mouse around 1 am! Though this is small and lightweight, it's perfect for mice!Tips: Place the trap against a wall, because mice travel along walls. Put it in a believed hot spot. Where you hear noises, see them, and/or their droppings. Try different baits. I have tried peanut butter, peanuts, chicken, but found that Nutella (messy though, I'll switch to candy) was the winner! Something with a strong scent works wonders. So try something for a few days and then change it up if you don't see it working. Also, move the trap around if you don't see any takers after a few days. Just be sure you are staying in the hot spot. These critters are more likely to come out at night when it's quiet. Don't forget to wear gloves, so your scent isn't on the house! IMPORTANT: Once you catch one, remember to drive at least 2 or 3 miles away!! Or they are very likely to return! I am paranoid, so I drove it at least 8 miles away to be sure and placed it near some quiet wooded area.Overall, this item was logically created, affordable, creative and has temporary amenities for the mice you catch. The most important thing is it WORKS! Great buy!!

No Mice Caught
Great looking traps but they did not work for me. Mice tripped the catch door before they were caught. Returned for refund.

Gets the job done, humanely
I live in a 1880s brick house and directly in front of a farm. As you might imagine, we get mice, usually worst in the winter. We prefer using non-lethal traps unless there's a lot of mice leaving visible droppings (in which case electronic traps will suffice). These are the best quality I've used so far: easy to load, less likely to be set off by my own movement (or my dog's), and easy to see through. We take the critters back to the field and off they go.If you hate cleaning up peanut butter or cheese from the plastic, we've found our mice (which are the little gray field ones) seem to be easily lured by chocolate. Perfect use for leftover Halloween candy.
